Q: If i were to buy rims and wheels for a 1995 lexus sc400 (RWD) and wanted to switch the rims and wheels onto a FWD car, could i? the wheels are offset (rear ones are wider), so could i just switch the rear wheels with the front wheels when i put thm on the fwd car? BTW, i already know the wheels and rims fit both cars, just wondering about the opposite (front-back) wheel sizes. Thanks: If you put wider wheel, thus wider tires on the rear wheels of a FWD, you are going to get more understeer than usual. If you look at people who race FWD in road courses, they put wider wheels and tires in front to reduce understeer. Understeer is not fun. The front of car will slide whenever you throw your car into a corner. And you need to reduce speed or adjust you steering to correct this. This is something that most race car drivers want to eliminate, but car manufacturer set up a little understeer for saftety reason to warn drivers that the car is at its cornering limit. So larger wheels and tires in rear of a FWD is not a very good idea.

Q: change front wheel bearing on rear wheel drive car, 1994 mercury cougar xr7: sure you can but your better off to buy the whole hub with the bearing already in it ! that makes the job a whole lot easier then pressing the old bearing out and pressing a new bearing back in !

Q: My penguin 150 filter wheel isn‘t spinning? I have tried old, and new cartridges with no luck of the wheel spinning. It works best just barely moving. the only other thing that you can do is check to be sure the shaft isn't cruddy with mineral deposits or hair etc. do not clean the wheel in tap water, ever. sometimes the wheels get out of balance and a good rinsing in dirty tank water usually knocks off extra debris. again, it doesn't have to spin, one rotation a minute is fine and you should never have to replace the wheel unless it becomes damaged NOTE: the other user is correct, it may also need the impeller and the impeller well cleaned. Be careful and reassemble it properly

Q: I brought my 2003 Kia Spectra into Pomp‘s tires for a wheel alignment, they called me 10 minutes after i dropped it off and told me i need a front left wheel bearing. Q: ok i have an 07 civic si with stock tire size P215/45 R17 .now i wanna buy some 17 in kosei wheels. when i got my car, i had some performance tires (same stock size) added to the vehicle. can i just swap the tires to these wheels? i dont know which wheels to get b/c they are the same rim size but different offsetsi am on a stock suspension right now so i am just looking for info like on camber, toe, offsets, and stuff like that.: Camber and toe are suspension settings not wheel stuff but here goes. Camber: If you are looking at wheel from the front or back negative camber would be further in towards the center of the car at the top. Positive would be in at the bottom. Toe: This is similar to camber except you would be looking at the wheel from the top or bottom. Toe In the front side of the wheels point in. Toe out is the opposite. Offset: Once again look at the wheel so you can see the tread. This is the distance from the center of the wheel/tread to the hub mounting face. Positive puts the hub face further from the center of the car. Negative is opposite. Also make sure the bolt pattern is the same.

Q: Are wheels universal? Is it possible to put ford wheels on a corolla? (both 5 lug): No. Bolt pattern makes a difference ( most common are 5x100mm or 5x112mm ) as well as the offset of the rims.
