- Q: My carpet is very stained and is supposed to be tan but because i have three kids and a dog who spill everything they can on it, its now multi colored and i have tried almost every carpet cleaner there is to try and get it clean. Ive used every resolve product, oxyclean, baking soda, and a lot of white vinegar and nothing works! Ive searched in resolved questions about this and got a lot of mixed answers. Some said they did it and it worked great then others said it can make them even worse by making the glue in the carpet fibers come apart. We live in post housing and i already know we are going to have to have the carpet replaced when we leave but that's not for another year or two. Im so embarrassed by it that i don't even like to have our friends over. I would like to know if anybody has bleached their carpets to make them white and if they have did the fibers in the carpets unravel weeks or months later??? Or did everything go okay and the carpets look better???
- I would definitely just hire a carpet cleaner... for about 50 dollars (I'm sure you've spent more on products), they can come and remove most of those unsightly spots. Just take out your local phone book and see who's available. Best of luck!
- Q: i got probably the worst rug burn ever! it broke the skin in two main places. i bled a bit and it stayed red for hours its two days later and my skin around my eye (where i got it) is turning this really sick shade of brownish green. my dad said it'll turn into a bruse and go away after about a week and a half. please dont tell me this is true because i have my senoir pictures to take and i already made the appointment. i made the date for next wensday.
- Sadly your Dad is correct.It will might even stay they longer. But hey every year you get pictures so just sit back with your friends and have a good laugh. A bruise is blood that had reached the surface but hasnt come out yet.So it will take it a while to go back a heal.So it that time relax and suck it up and live with it
- Q: I had a puppy, that urinated on my carpet, I would clean the spots, and of course discipline the dog.... BUT it made my home smell like urine.... so I had some carpet cleaning people come out and clean my carpets now that the puppy is fully house trained and now my house smells like wet dog, urine, and this sour, mildew wet smell. - try some diaper soaker .first try iit onsome part oof the rug that can't be seen in case it takes the colour of the rug out .then use it carefully ,not too much soaker.about half a cup in a litre of water get as much of the poop off as you can before you start then gently drawing the stain to the center from each side dab on the diaper soaker. you will need to put the soaker in some warm water. when you think you have got it cleaned up get a micro cotton towel and put it over the stain and stand on it .this will soak up most of the water .you may have to repeat this to get it all out .

- definite, I had maneuvered a 6'X9' (4A great Heavy) Flokati (sheepskin) rug over a deck railing to air out whilst I buffed my flooring. whilst i attempted to retrieve the rug by using pulling it off the railing....I lost my stability whilst it finally gave way, I fell backwards and the burden of the rug pinned me down for numerous minutes till i might desire to finally place my feet to scoot out from decrease than it. Now i'm getting somebody to help me once I do this!
