- Well, I think the price is OK, you may just want to save up for it, but I'll still try to help: This style of chair is called a papasan chair, I know that Pier One sells them but they're more expensive than the PBTeen model. Probably the only way to get a papasan chair cheaply is to get a used/second hand one. If you want to get one used, you could try Craigslist for your area. I don't know how old you are, so if you are young *ASK PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENTS* to look at Craigslist online (there can be bad people online there), and if you ever buy anything online through Craigslist *MAKE SURE* someone goes with you if you go to pick it up. If you get a Pier One or used chair, you could make a slipcover for the cushion (in a fabric like the Dottie chair), but in all honesty I would save your time and trouble and buy the PBTeen one. If you sign up for their emails they may send you a coupon, and/or let you know about sales!! Good luck!

- Not every woman wants a guy to pull out the chair for her. It depends if she's more traditional, or more contemporary/feminist. It's also something you'd really only do somewhere fancy. That being said, she should bounce a little to make it easier for you to push the chair in. You can always pull the chair back enough for her to get into it, and move it forward just a little for show, I guess is the phrase, and then let her adjust as she needs it.
- Q: I have the necessary equipment to remove the old fabric and polish the wood frame. Do you guys know a bout an online guide or video tutorial that features a chair with challenges similar to this? PS: I know a pro would be better, but the nearest wanted $1400 for the job, which I'm not intending to spend.
- those buttons can be tied to the back of the chair before the rear section of the chair is covered == use some heavy string that will pull those buttons to the depression to make those tufts ... I have never done this so if it does help you {{sorry 'bout that}} SBT .... go the book store or the public library for the old books that will give you the best info ...........

- We dont have those, whenever i have seen them they look cheaply made in person, which is crazy at $45 a pop. Belle has a few types of chairs, A wooden table and chairs set, hand painted winnie the pooh, then a few plastic lawn chairs, a soft stuffed football chair, only $20 at walgreens and great quality, then a wooden rocker from Cracker Barrel. Her cousins have these cute leather chairs from Target I think, very nice and we can even sit in them too, i think they were about $40 to $50 a peice.

- This was what my sis was wanting a few years ago. We looked at pricey chairs at Pier One and everywhere else. But what she got was a patio-type blue wicker-looking chair at Lowe's, and it was well under $50, and on sale. Home Depot or Walmart might also have them.
