- Q: I have a two year old laptop. Being that it is white, it gets dirty very easily. Recently I have been bothered by how nasty the little areas beneath the keys on the keyboard probably are. How can I clean my keyboard at home without taking the keys off? Do any of those keyboard vacuums work, and if so, which ones? I know about the compressed air you can buy and whatnot, but wouldn't that just push the dirt around beneath the keys, not get rid of it?
- I use a qtip with a little rubbing alcohal (not too wet) on it to go between the keys.

- I'm not sure, but I am positive it has the virtual keyboard. The 5800 runs on the S60 5th edition and has the on screen keyboard, while the C6 runs on the same OS, and is on the latest firmware available, so it should have the on screen virtual keyboard too.

- Hi SchylerR, I would suggest you to check the keyboard for signs of damage, spills or abuse if any. Run hardware diagnostics on the keyboard. Shut down the system and keep tapping F12 during startup select Diagnostics. The Keyboard fails in diagnostics, reseat the Keyboard Cable in the system. Refer to the link in the manual for instructions on reseating the keyboard: bit.ly/ZOOS9j If the issue still persists, you may have to replace the motherboard. You may test with a different good known external keyboard and also check if the on screen keyboard works. Hope this helps. Thanks and Regards Priyanka S
- Q: I accidentally spilled Amarula on my Laptop Keyboard and was not able to type a single alphabet. I bought an external Keyboard but I would prefer to use the Laptop Keyboard. - It is probably broke. It will need replaced. If you have a warranty, use it.

- Try a different port and blowing the dust out of the ports. If that doesnt work, the ps2 either has a bad southbridge or its a bad keyboard

- You can't use a laptop as a keyboard, but you can use any USB (Wired or wireless) keyboard, and most bluetooth keyboards.
