Slip resistance:

Boards of Techwoodn according to ASTM D2394-05. This is the best ranking for bare-foot slip resistance.

Weathering resistance:

Boards of Techwoodn have very low moisture uptake.This is key for mold and mildew resistance.

UV resistance:

4000 hours accelerated Xenon-arc Exposure,the Boards turned slightly more clear and colored.

Abrasion resistance:

The resistance to abrasion is similar to oak.

Fungus resistance:

Whatever fungus the wood composite is exposed to,it is extremely durable.

Moreover,aging test does not affect this durability.

Q: What is the best over the counter floor cleaner for vinyl and/or poured type floors that have a heavy traffic or funiture marks.: I have vinyl flooring and have always heard that you should use ammonia or bleach on vinyl.....I don't use Pine-Sol because it doesn't have the disinfectant properties that Lysol and Mr.Clean have (kills Staph, E-coli etc...).....I use Mr.Clean or Lysol....I just follow the mixture directions on the back and always use HOT water, this cleans great....also Future Floor Finish ( polish) leaves vinyl floors so shiny they look like marble.

Q: need to replace the floor: You have to cut the old floor out. Then repair the supporting wood then lay new plywood down and then seal with epoxy. Are they difficult to maintain and are they a good choice for the bathroom?: Slate floors are not difficult to maintain but hard to install. Q: My family room and kitchen are one large area, I am hesitant to put a laminate floor in the kitchen because of the dog running in and out of the kitchen to outdoors and getting the floor wet with snow or rain. Will that be a problem with a laminate kitchen floor?: It could be. Friend of mine with the same situation has laminate floor only 3 years old that's been affected by dogs running in and out with wet feet. You'd be better off with vinyl.

It's made for dancers as they use it at all competitions. But it's super expensive! Fouettés are harder in general but they are all hard you just have to know how to do em! Traction floors (marble specifically) are better for turns. & it's harder on slippery floors cause you can slip. That's why they make rosin for dancers. Because rosin helps grip. It takes practice on grippy floor but a little slippery is ok. Although still not safe haha! Hope I helped!

Q: We just bought a new house and have linoleum floor in the kitchen, dining room and by the front door. Although the floor is nice, due to the natural etchings in the linoleum dirt gets in there and it so hard to clean. I used a abrasive product but was told that will take off the coating on the floor. Any suggestions (other than buying a fancy cleaning machine) for cleaning products that would work well. We are probably talking about 600 sq feet of floor. By the way, I live in Canada.: my kitchen floor is linoleum, but its small. i just spray windex and go across it with a cloth. you should try a swiffer with the built in spray. they're great. they work on hardwood floors, too. you just press a button and cleaning fluid comes out right in front of the mop-type part.
