Keep in mind that you may have to add to the top of a doorway sadle and cut the door with the process. If the difference is more then 1 to 2 inches then I would have the low end jacked to get closer. It will take a combination if floors are to low on one end. Doing both on really unlevel floors will give you better results.

- Not sure where you live, but, surface temp has to be at least 50 degress in most situations. With concrete floor coatings, prep is the key. An acid solution is imperative to cleaning the floor and it will not harm any existing paint that may be there, it will only attact exposed concrete. A pressure washer is not needed for this application. The floor must dry for about a week. Follow instructions for whatever product that you use. Remember, the acid cleaning has to happen whether you use a latex, oil, epoxy or any other type floor paint. Wait until next summer, perfect months would be april, may, and august, september. good luck.

- Your best bet is Murphy's Oil Soap, mixed as directed for floors. Use hot water and a well-wrung mop so that the floor dries quickly. If that doesn't work, or you want another solution, then keep in mind that you need to find something strong enough to cut the oil in the orange glo, without damaging the wood floor. Hot water with a tiny amount of dishwashing liquid (not enough to need rinsing) or hot water with a cup of vinegar would both be safe for your floor, and might remove the oil with a few tries. In the future, don't use any furniture polishing products on the floor, in addition to problems like this, the floor will be slippery and dangerous to walk on.

- Wood floors are tough! You NEVER want to use a Swifter on hardwood floors!!! Especially if they are natural or treated wood. Laminate and pergo are ok, but not for real wood floors! Trust me, I'm a professional house cleaner! What you want to do is go out and get yourself a good hardwood floor cleaner. If it's really bad, you may want to invest in a good pair of kneepads as well. What we normally do it we take the floor cleaner and put about a 1/4 of it into a bucket and fill it with water. If you're using rags, make sure to wring out the rag really good before putting it on the floor. Then as you're washing the floor, use a dry rag to dry the floor so there are no streaks. I'd do this about maybe once every month, or 2 months. Oh, and invest is what's called a shmop It's just like a swifter, only it uses a cloth, and what you do is; wet the cloth and put it on the shmop,then spray the cloth with the floor cleaner and use it on the floors. It keeps them shiny and it's a lot cheeper than having to buy swifter cloths. This one uses just one cloth and you can wash it and reuse it. You don't want to use a swifter though because it takes the finish off the hardwood, if there is a finish. If there isn't a finish, it tends to dry out the wood and make it look dirty all the time.
