Article Description: 1,Dry and wet vacuum cleaner; |
- Q: which upright is best out of the department store brands? (Oreck, bissell, dyson, eureka, etc?) Recommendations should be for less than $500.
- My all time favorite was a canister type called Rainbow. It used water for the filter and far surpassed all other brands. I could pick up water too which was great for an emergency spot cleaning. The filter was reasonable ;-) and it's design far superior as no contaminants were redeposited in the air like others. I like bissel and eurika and any unit that has a good hose for reaching along the baseboards and drapes, good filtration and maneuverability.
- Q: Can a canister vacuum cleaner hepa filter be washed?
- Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
- Q: It could be anything, like staples, but you hear them hitting the insides of the vacuum. It's like a static sound.I think it sounds cool. XD
- haha yes! i love vacuuming and that sound makes everything feel so clean! :P especially the sound of sand getting sucked up
- Q: Is going door to door like a cheap vacuum cleaner salesman the best way to spread the eternal word of god?
- To offer an answer to your question, I'd say going door-to-door spreading good things for others but otherwise leaving them alone is the way. Any religion that teaches otherwise seems very damaging. Do you know what a hobo is? When I was a boy, the hobos went door-to-door, looking for handouts or food or clothing. But they would WORK. They would till the garden, cut tree limbs, even repair the old screen door, then leave. They had better manners and sense than the door-to-door xtians!
- Q: I want all the details
- ha ha ha Are they still going door to door? ha ha ha Seriously, Kirby use to make a darn good vacuum. I don't know about now but when I was a kid....... Interesting question!
- Q: .......towards vacuum cleaners and hair dryersWhat can I do!?!?I've had her for 2 years and I tried to rehome her a year ago because I moved to a place that didn't allow pets.Well the people brought her back so now I am having to keep her secret from my landlord. But she is aggressive towards vacuum cleaners and hair dryers now!!!She ripped our vacuum cleaner apart. Tore off the hoses and the filters. One day I was hair drying my hair and she came running into the bathroom and howling, she snatched the hair dryer from me and started biting and chomping it.She's never acted this way before, what can I do??She's not aggressive to animals and is very timid around people and other dogs. She's not food aggressive and she's very intelligent. But now we have to replace our vacuum and we have to lock her in the back bedroom when we are vacuuming and she will tear down the door and rip up the carpet trying to get to it. She acts this way even when the vacuum is not turned on so we have to lock it inside a closet.
- You must understand that bully breeds are extremely strong willed in order to tame her you must take the time out to establish who is the most dominant being in the house. Bully breeds have developed a bad reputation over the years with their highly aggressive behaviors which is not there simply because it is in their genetics but because many of them have had owners who did not know the proper way to handle them. Another reason is because she is still in her puppy years which means it is the best time to perhaps take her to a dog trainer. I did this with my bull terrier 4 years ago who was extremely hyper. The trainer helped alot and gave me alot of advice that put an end to his hardheaded behavior.
- Q: Are there any products that work well, e.g. cleaners, mops, wet/dry vacuum-mops?
- I was wondering the answere to the same question not too long ago. I too have laminante flooring and I asked the installers what to clean it with? They reccomended good old windex. It cleans well, leaves no streaks and dries very fast!! you don't want the floors to get too wet or they'll get ruined. There are more expensive cleaners that do the same job, but key word there expensive, they have the same basic ingridents as windex!! I use it about once every 2-3 weeks and my floors never looked better!! I spray a thin layer then mop it up with a wide head terry cloth microfiber removable mop, i got from home depot that cuts the cleaning time in half because of how large it is. try this out and let me know how it works!! Hope this helps, Happy cleaning!!
- Q: Vacuum Cleaners? What is better bagless or bags. What can I get for $100.oo?
- I prefer the bagless. You can see all the dirt it's picking up and clean up is a snap, just remove the canister and dump it out. It also seems to do a better job. You should be able to get a decent vacuum for under a$100.
- Q: Where on Oahu can I sell my 4 rainbow vacuum cleaners?
- You are the one that wanted the sales job.
- Q: Vacuum is the absence of matter. From my understanding, vacuums work by fans and air currents....I don't understand.
- RandyG and bill are absolutely spot on I will vote for them, bless. The reason the hoovers (sic) were so called is that it sounded terribly scientific in an age (many, many years ago) that the science was an ultra-important thing, to the average Mrs of a household, specially in America. But my theory is simpler - a goddam sucker does not sound so very nice, and in the 1930's it would not have gone down well with the middle class US who were the people who would be buying them. Not even 60 years ago in the uk, wives would beat the carpets on the line out in the back yard 'cos they no way could afford a 'hoover' - think on't, lad...... They had no washing machine. They hadn't even heard of a dish washer. Most houses here had not got central heating, a telephone of any sort, and half had no fridge they used a 'larder' and shopped every day since nothing would keep. Points to ponder, what your Gran and Parents lived through, innit?
