They are really expensive.try to use phone cardsor internet phones
Q:Hi, Soon I will be pack packing across the united states. I need to know what is a good durable t mobile phone that supports favorite five.
Samsung T109. It's hinge is very durable and is good as a phone.
Q:How to find credibility of any online mobile phone company?
My mom and dad and kin insist on ATT (Cingular) that's ok different than i % T-cellular with the aid of fact i'm a huge texter and that i % an entire qwerty keyboard devoid of having a blackberry or a blackjack. ATT is reliable for households with the aid of finished deals they supply like purchase one telephone and get 3 extra. Plus texting limitless is notably dang much less high priced. Oh yet, waiting for an improve takes continuously! 2 years after purchase of modern telephone. Rippp-offf! Thye have alot of telephones that have cameras and a few of them different stuff too, case in point my advert has the sync which has the geared up in stuff yet he has 3 ipod nanos already! and you may text fabric ON each telephone. each PLAN and business enterprise has that. only be certain it relatively is enabled :) Btw, I stay in Denver. Isnt that weird and wonderful (IDK, im suger extreme ceremony now)
Q:Hi. I recently got a new phone(LG Dare) and have just tried being on mobile messenger. Is there a way to be on-line/available to one or more of the contacts but shown as off-line to others in the list at the same time. Like what you would do from normal Messenger from the computer. If so how do I appear online while using Messenger to only those that I select as being available? Thanks in advance.
Exactly, okorder
Q:I have a plan under sprint and my sister has broken her phone then lost my old back up phone. can i buy a cheap prepaid virgin mobile phone and activate it for sprint? please no jokes about using other carriers, sprint is the only thing that has any good signal where i live (nowhere).
No you can't at this time. It might be possible in the future as Sprint just bought out Virgin Mobile as of last month and they will take at least another six months integrating the two operations. Right now, Sprint only allows Sprint phones and Virgin Mobile only allows Virgin Mobile phones Btw, Virgin Mobile runs on the Sprint network ANYWAY, maybe you want to just buy a Virgin Mobile phone and run it on Virgin Mobile seeing as it is the same as Sprint (except for no roamingbut if Sprint is the only network that works in your area anyway, roaming is not an issue because that involves other carriers besides Sprint.). Virgin Mobile has better prices then Sprint anyway. If you are stuck with the Sprint plan, find a cheap used Sprint phone via Craigslist or OKorder and make sure that the esn/electronic serial number is clean (email the seller on OKorder and find out what the number is first, call Sprint customer care and check to make sure it is clean/not stolen/lost or has money owed to Sprint on it). If it is good to go, buy it. You should be able to activate it on Sprint.
Q:a friend from school is going to give me her phone (lg rumour) there is no phone number on it and she hasn't used it since the summer time. for me to activate it, do i just go to a virgin mobile store and say that i want to activate the phone?i also want to get unlimited texting on the phone aswell. (its a prepaid phone) how do i go through with this. plus, anything else that i should know?
If the phone is inactive right now, you can go into a Virgin Mobile store and ask to activate it. Except since it has no phone number, that might be kinda hard. For unlimited texting, I have a $25 plan that gives 300 minutes, and unlimited texting and web. While you're at the store, they can probably start you on that plan. Or you can go into your messaging settings under Balance Usage and change it from there.
Q:I have had a virgin mobile phone that died costed me 130 bucks approx and its been about 7 8 months? the problem I have is i dont know what other phone to get I dont want to spend a hundred bucks for a phone that will die in less than a year. I want to know if I can get a phone like blackberry or something else.thats unlocked and i dont even know what that means to be honest but i want it lol.please help from these sucky VM phones
Unfortunately, unlocked only refers to GSM phones, or T-Mobile, ATT, etc. Virgin Mobile runs off of the Sprint network wich is digital, or CDMA. You will have to use a Virgin Mobile Specific phone if you want to replace and keep the service. I would definately suggest shopping around at Verizon and seeing what kind of deals you can get. They are always offering free phones with 2 year contracts (and you can get insurance on the phone, so if something happens and you break it, it's only 50 bucks for a new one). A monthly plan is always cheaperbut a little more difficult to get, as they check your credit and you must be 18. If you are not 18 or have challenged credit, I would suggest moving to Cigular (the new ATT) pay as you go plan. It is cheaper and you get better service. You can often find phones under 100 dollars that will fit your needs. On another note, if the phone is less than a year old (no matter who the carrier is), the manufacturer should carry a 1 year manufacturers warranty. If there is no water damage, or it hasnt been dropped excessively or damaged by force, you might be able to obtain a warranty replacement from the company. Try to find out who makes your phone, call Virgin Mobile customer service and get their 1 800 number, call the manufacturer and explain your situationit's worth a shot.
Q:i am wanting a phone from boost mobile but want a straight talk plan?? can I do this
No, that will not work, and for several reasons: 1.) Straight Talk will not accept a Boost Mobile phone, period. 2.) Boost Mobile phones are not compatible with Straight Talk's GSM SIM cards. 3.) Boost Mobile phones with SIM card slots are either iDEN (which will not work with a GSM SIM card), or are locked from being used outside of Boost Mobile.
Q:Hello. In my last flights a while ago the Flight Woman told me to remove my mobile phone from service because of take off and landing only. I ask her why but she did not tell back to me.What is it? Do my mobile phone insult the functionality of the plane during take off and landing? Can it harm the navigation of the captain? Or does it harass the electricity of the plane? Is the captain allowed to turn on his mobile phone during take off?And in flight I was scaring because there was a thunderstorm outside from the plane. I turn my mobile phone of really fast. Can the thunderstorm call my mobile phone during flight and kill me?And there was another guy who was in use of his mobile phone during landing. He was sitting away and I was talking to him really loud to turn of his mobile please. The flight woman tell me to be shut down my service of talking. She was not tell him to take it out of service! Why are other people allowed to use their during landing?
Restrictions on the use of mobile phones are a legal matter, not a safety matter. Despite what some flight crews say (and what airlines deliberately teach them), mobile phones do not interfere with aircraft systems. In the United States, FCC regulations prohibit the use of cellular telephones at any point in flight (flight being defined as any time that the aircraft's wheels are not touching the ground). This means the whole flight, not just takeoff and landing. The restriction was put in place because the FCC feared that cell phones in the air would overload base stations on the ground. This turned out not to be a problem, but the restriction is still in place. The relevant regulation is 47 CFR § 22.925. The FAA also places restrictions on the use of portable electronic devices in flight. This restriction arose out of the fear that electronic devices would interfere with aircraft systems. This also turned out not to be a problem, but the regulation is still in place. The relevant regulation is 14 CFR § 121.306 for airlines. So the only reasons for the restrictions are legal restrictions. It's not a matter of electronic interference, or the crew getting yoru attention, or anything like that. Anyway, airlines vary in their zeal for enforcement. The FAA itself encourages airlines to ignore its regulations during certain phases of flight. See Advisory Circular 91.21-1B.
