- Q: I ordered a virgin mobile phone online and im wondering if it will arrive in a package or if it will be put in my mailbox? I have no idea this is the first time i have ordered online. It is supposed to be shipped with FedEx
- I have 3 phones with Virgin Mobile (me, husband, daughter) and they usually arrive via FedEx within 4 days, the delivery guy takes it right to your door. If you activate your phone online and add at least $20 in minutes to it, you'll get 60 free minutes for using Kickback Code CsToLdv4 (just copy and paste it, it is case-sensitive). We've been with Virgin Mobile for 2 years now and it's a great company to go through, we haven't had any issues with them, I've only had to call customer service twice and they handled everything quickly and professionally their customer service isn't located in India, either!
- Q: How does the phone delete the phone number on the SIM card?
- Or find "show SIM card number", set, exit and then re-enter the business card holder, confirm that the number on the SIM card - all selected to delete.
- Q: Forgive me for maybe being a little stupid but i assume that a sim free unlocked mobile phone is just a plain old handset that will accept any sim card?I currently have a phone with Tesco mobile on a PAYG tariff - i assume that if i bought a sim free unlocked phone, i could take my sim card from my current phone and put it into the new one and it would work just fine? ie. i'd keep my current number and i'd stay on my PAYG tariff?
- Not any phone company. Different carriers use different systems. Like cdma and gsm.Sprint, Virizon, and alltell are services that use cdma, which is basically an internal built sim. Some carriers offer a flash service that enables you to use their carrier, however once flashed your phone will only be able to be with that carrier. ATT once activating your phone will block it from being used anywhere else.Hope this helps.
- Q: I REALLY want to buy a sidekick for a new cell phone. I have verizon because T-Mobile isn't in my area. Can you have a T-Mobile phone if you have Verizon????
- The only way you can do this is if the phone has a place for a sim card it usually goes under the battery and is a little plastic card with a computer chip on it, some us cell phone companies have sim cards avalible for purchase, it will give you a number and service from that carrier to your phone when you put there sim card in your phone, so check if there is a spot for a sim card and see if verizon has sim cards avalible
- Q: I am looking at Vigin Mobile phones, and I have found two that would be great. The Slash and the Shuttle. I need help choosing. Which one is better?
- Definately the Shuttle!! Here is why the Shuttle is better: (+) Shuttle camera is 1.3 megapixel camera, Slash is just VGA (+) Shuttle can record video, Slash cannot (+) Shuttle is 3G speed and uses EVDO (this is Virgin Mobile's first EVDO 3G phone) (+) Shuttle has a music player (Slash does not) (+) Shuttle has removable memory, Slash does not (+) Shuttle is much quicker than Slash This is why the Shuttle is better :-) If you are planning of getting either one of these, it would be best to get the Shuttle, the higher price is worth it. I am planning on getting one!!
- Q: I work in a small communications department (4 people, 1 of whom just resigned) and am wondering how best to approach my boss with the topic. Since we are at 75% working capacity at the moment it would be helpful if I had a mobile work phone to better stay in communication with the team and organization as a whole. Also important to mention I am the most junior level person in the department (also only member without work phone.) ~TIA
- A mobile phone is a tool, just like any other tool you use to do you job. So you need to figure out how a cell phone, as as a tool, would not only be helpful, but would increase your productivity. Once you can make that case, the conversation isn't about convincing - it's about knowing.
- Q: Does Tesco has their own brand of mobile phone?
- no yet once you get your telephone unlocked you could and despite community u initiate of wif you need to shop if the telephone is locked I have been given my telephone unlocked each week in the past for a tenner and it took minutes at an area telephone shop
- Q: i am getting a new cell phone through t mobile sometime soon and i was wondering what you think the best one would be to get?
- If you are getting a new contract or extension then i would get one of the following. Free- RIZR 0-$50- Shadow- Copper (Sage gets dirty easily) 51-$100- Dash 101- $150- Sidekick 151-$200- Blackberry Curve 200+- G1
- Q: If so please mention themAnd also could you tell me what phone I should get from T-Mobile please and thank you.
- In my opinion, Tmobile is a great cellular service provider and I've been using them for years without problems. So I think you should be fine with them. Meanwhile, all I can say about the t-mobile phone selection is RAZR-Ville! and it's also that way for a good reason. T-mobile doesn't offer very many decent phones in my opinion aside from the reliable RAZR and Sidekicks. But, the problem with this is the fact that RAZRs are becoming all to common and the sidekick has an apalling screen resolution, camera, and portability rating (at least for me). T-mobile also has a tragically small amount of smartphones in their line up. This is because T-mobile is relying on the blackberry/crackberry to hold their smartphones sector. So unless you love blackberries, look somewhere else. Finally, the low-end phones are mainly clamshells with decent functionality for those who just want a phone. Though one exception to the low-end phones would be the samsung slide phone that they have get it if you wan t a nice looking and quite capable basic phone. Thus, unless you absolutely love the RAZR, text message to the point or needing a sidekick, need a blackberry(I found the phone boring), or want a basic phone which you can mostly get elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend getting a phone from t-mobile directly. Which brings me to a simple conclusion, buy an unlocked GSM phone that works with where you live and T-mobile from OKorder or something and stick your sim card in it. Well hope that helps.
- Q: I recently got a t-mobile samsung t509 phone. I unlocked it to use it for cingular. I am wondering if there is a way to change the t-zone and internet settings to cingular settings.
- Nope. Sorry to tell you that T-Mobile has made their phones to have the T-zone dafault in there. You cannot change it. I have tried it with some of my Samsung Tmobile phones. Its imposible. The only way out of this is re-flash the phone with the samsung firmaware not Samsung -tmobile firmware.
