- I don't remember ever doing a problem like this, but I will try to solve it. P = W/Δt, P = Fd/Δt P = Fv Force required to lift the 142 kg object; F = 142 * 9.8 F = 1391.6 N Therefore; P = Fv 500 = 1391.6*v v = 0.359 m/s So velocity of the crane is 0.359 m/s. Is that right?

- technically yes, mixed martial arts is when you study both and mix them, however there is a mixed martial arts rule set which usually means anything goes except the obvious fouls. now can someone studying white crane kung fu and ninjutsu beat someone who practices boxing and sambo ... probably not. also, MMA is a martial sport, not so much as an art, AKA you will spar and maybe compete which means it wont look nice or 'artsy'.
