- a) As the crane is lifting at constant speed, there is no acceleration on the payload, therefore the net forces on the payload are equal to 0. Therefore the crane overcomes just the force of gravity = 500*9.81 = 4905 N Power = force * velocity = 4905 * 0.7 = 3433.5 W b) distance = speed * time = 0.7 * (2 * 60) = 84 m c) assuming that the cable breaks while it is still going up at 0.7 m/s, therefore initial velocity upwards = 0.7 m/s. using v? = u? + 2as: v? = 0.7? + 2(-9.8)(-84) = 1646.89 v = √(1646.89) = 40.9 m/s the payload will be travelling at 40.9 m/s when it hit the ground.

- Probably some stress or fear is looming large in your subconscious mind. Scary dreams often occur when you have something that is stressing you. That is assuming you didn't read some book or watch some movie that brought it on, that is another possibility. Often we replay images we have in our heads from the day before. - It's more a matter of where gears MIGHT be used. 1. Gear reduction to lifting cable drum. 2. Gears to rotate the crane, or driving cable drum to extend jib. 3. If a mobile crane, gears to transmit drive to wheels/ tracks etc.

- no taichi i not related with the animal behavior , it created by slow moment with a lot of internal power

- They are disassembled and carried via a truck to the next job site. Also some cranes are built into a truck and so they retract into itself and make it easier to get around in a city. Also in order to be a crane operator you have to have special certification and training. For the larger cranes that are able to be on the road, some times police departments well shut down roads in order for it to move around in the city.

- these guys described them pretty well. I get to see these types of birds every day here in south florida. We do have a lot of cattle egrets they follow behind you when you mow your yard picking up bugs.
