- Q: Can someone find me a map that shows the geographic location of the white naped crane?
- it's not a map but it tells where theyre habitat range is.
- Q: i am not trying to say all one has to do is read and never go to a class this is more or less a suplement to my training, by no means all of it so don't get mad at me for asking about a martial arts book pleasethanks in advance ansewers community
- There is only one book written on Yong Chun White Crane and it is out of print. I have word that the author is planning on revising and re-releasing it. There is no set date but when I learn more, I will give any details. @gangsta - what are these books you are referring to? Do tell!
- Q: We had a very large tree removed from beside our house. The crane parked in the driveway and caused four very large depressions and crushed concrete.
- Your insurance won't pay for this. They may help you sue the company you hired. Their insurance should pay for the repairs.
- Q: It affects my day to day life, especially in the summer, having to cope with crane flies, wasps and moths getting into my house, so I usually just pretty much keep myself in my room, door closed, windows closed to prevent any from getting into my room. If I happen to be near any of these insects I tend to have a panic attack and can't handle it. I have no reason for my fear, I am just afraid of them for no reason. If my room is too hot, I'll just sit in the dark with the window slightly open, in fear of them coming into my room. It's getting silly now and a lot of my friends will tease me about it. Really it's weird, I'm afraid of these insects, however I don't mind spiders (though I will not touch them), or any other insects for that matter. Can anyone help me to overcome my fears?
- Think butterflies and hang a bag of water over your door also keep a bottle of bug spray handy
- Q: A crane lifts a 425 kg steel beam vertically a distance of 117m. How much work does the crane do on the beam if the beam accelerates upward at 1.8 m/s^2? Neglect frictional forces.a.) 3.4 x 10^5 Jb.) 4.0 x 10^5 Jc.) 5.8 x 10^5 Jd.) 4.9 x 10^5 JSolved as W= mgh but obviously that is wrong. Where do I go wrong?
- You have the right idea, the answer is d. EDIT: Well I actually read the rest of the question (sometimes I get an itchy trigger finger!), and the net force should be found first, the net force includes the weight and the tension in the crane's cable (so you need to find the tension): ∑F = ma = T - mg T = m(a + g) = 425kg(1.80m/s? + 9.80m/s?) = 4930N So the net force is the sum of the tension in the cable and the weight of the beam, or: F = T - mg = 4930N - (425kg)(9.80m/s?) = 735N Then, the work done by the crane is: W = FΔy = 735N(117m) = 8.95 x 10^4J Does not match any of your choices, so I am perplexed! Maybe someone will straighten me out. Apologies if I failed to help.
- Q: how to build a crane using:woodelasticsgluescrews/boltsbottlessyringesnailsplastictin canand rubber tubingplease be detailed,thanks! :)
- Carefully. okorder has kit numbers and downloadable instructions for many Lego cranes. You might be able to find some of them on OKorder. You may not need to actually build the Lego crane. Instead, look at the model, determine the major pieces (wheels, turntable, arm, etc.). Then, look at your bundle of pieces and make something with the same function.
- Q: What is the admissible weight of a crane?
- Depends on how it is transported - you have to give more information on the kind of crane and where it will be used.
- Q: But theres always someone who gets a prize everytime. Its so unfair!lol
- I suck at them lol. I actually like Spongebob (yea thats right), and im not afraid to admit it. Down here in the deep blue sea! It aint 80s I know but its pretty good nonetheless... and no im horrible at those skill cranes so I feel for Squidward in the episode...
- Q: What is the theme of the poem A man to the universe by Stephen Crane?
- In the poem “A Man said to the Universe” by Stephen Crane three distinct images appear as the reader relates man and universe as they fit into their cosmic role. The simplicity of the five line poem envelopes man’s perception of his place among the universe, the universe’s perception of its role in the order of life, and the relationship of both man and universe in regards to the enormity of the cosmos. Collectively, these three components create a profound thought on creation. By Folrani Adewale
- Q: I'm not sure how to set this problem up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)
- We start using by defining mechanical Power: = P=Work/time What is the work here? We lift the box a given distance. Work=mgh Since we know the power of the crane, we can simply plug in the values and solve for t: t=mgh/P This is only true if the crane has a constant power, which seems to be the case LeSmartOne
