Q: They seem to be the tallest thing around, so what put them up?
Large cranes are built in sections imagine like an erector set. When there is a large building to be built the crane arrives in smaller easier to manage pieces and assembled on site.
Q: I wanted the email address for the cartoonist Pickles by Brian Crane to find that golfing humor comic strip that ran in the newspapers. Maybe this would help. How many strokes do you think? Two - one big drive and a short putt. Now killed the golf ball. Then said Now one heck of a putt! I am still trying to find that comic strip but anyone has the email address, please let me know asap. Thanks!
P)lease provide me the mailing address for Brian Crane. I desire to mail him a letter in reference to his Pickles comic strip. Thank you!
Q: If there are cranes by a small pond should there be fish?
Hmm... cranes don't normally eat fish. They eat mostly insects and the occasional frog or lizard. If there are herons or cormorants at this little lake of yours, then there's your sign fish are present. It won't take these birds long to search an area for fish. If there are no fish, the birds will move on fairly quick. If they're there every day, well... do what comes naturally.
Q: I've only read Hunger Games and watched the movie and noticed a large presence of Seneca Crane in the movie. However, I don't recall him being mentioned in the Hunger Games? Is he even mentioned in the Hunger Games? If so, please provide pages.I know he is definitely mentioned in Catching Fire but I haven't read that yet.
Nope. He is just called The Gamemaker in The Hunger Games. I guess they wanted to elaborate on him more so that you would know Katniss's hatred for him in the Catching Fire movie.
Q: Hi guys, I am doing a project for school on blue cranes, and i can't find much on what their diet is like? Does anyone know?
Blue cranes? You mean great blue heron. They eat fish, frogs, snakes, anything smallish that lives in shallow waters.
Q: im so frustrated because ive tryed everything and im obsessed with this book it would really help if someone could find a way for me to read it for free online. i cant find it at my library.please and thank you:)?
Shelly Crane is not giving the book away for free so any online site that has it, has stolen intellectual property.
Q: Has a gift what im a telling that person.
the meaning is if you make a thousand crane your wish will come true. and if you give someone a paper crane it symbolizes friendship! :)
Q: I need to know exactly how much weight they can lift also how much do they weight?how long is thier life-time?in what temprature they can work?does mosture do any harm to them?for installation , do they need foundation?the exact height and width?
You need to be more specific. The lifting capacities for container cranes varies significantly, as does any other crane. Some of the variation is based purely on load (horsepower) availability; some is based on speed (rpm) for lift/drop portions of the cycle. Cranes like these operate year-round, at ports all over the world. Some ports have average ambient temperatures in the range of 45 C, with highs up to 60 C. Others can be as low an average as 10 C, with a low peak as much as -50 C. Moisture will, over the long haul, harm them - they're metal constructs, and thus are prone to oxidation. Using corrosion-resistant materials and/or coatings will certainly prolong their usable lifespan. The crane drives (electric motors and power electronics) are also susceptible to moisture and other contaminants. All true dockside cranes require some sort of permanent foundation; it's usually part of the pier construction itself. However, there are portable cranes that operate without one. There is also more than one crane manufacturer out there - all will have their trade secrets that will make each look a little different than the rest. It will generally also reflect in their operation parameters, and in their expected life cycle.
Q: The machine weight is 17500 KgEach crane capacity is 12500 KgThe lenght of beam is 4.5m and square cross section areaMaterial of beam is ASTM A 615 Gr60Machin connect to beam in 3 pointWhat is the beam cross section area dimension?
You left out crucial information and working it out with risky assumptions takes too much work. Whatever this was supposed to mean Machin connect to beam in 3 point What is missing is whether the cranes connect to the end and the entire weight of the machine is in the middle - or is the machine attached at 3 distributed points. In addition, there has to be some condition - looking at the ASTM spec will give strength, but you have specified whether the beam is to be just at failure or 50% safety factor, etc.
Q: Are they in the same familia?
They are not of the same familia. The Sandhill Crane is of the genus-us Grus canadensis, the Egret comes into two gen-uses Casmerodius Egretta or Ardea. Sandhills are much larger than even the largest Egret.which is the Great White, the smallest is the Little or Cattle Egret. All this information can be found by looking into search both species,
