1) This series of tower cranes, ranging from QTZ40 to QTZ400 has a horizontal jib frame, a jib-trolley radius-changing mechanism and a hydraulic self-raising mechanism. - You only have to fold 1000 to make your wish come true. It doesn't matter how long you take on them, but they should look acceptable if you'd like to display them. - TAke a needle threaded with a long piece of black thread, and make a small knot at end of long thread. Push the needle thru the middle of the crane's back and pull the thread all the way thru the hole till the knot catches. pull the needle off the loose end of the thread and make another knot on that end. take a push pin or thumb tack and push the pin thru the knot, then push the pin or tack into the ceiling. FYI, tape never works - I have tried. The black thread lets them flutter a bit, and is invisible most of the time. p.s. ask your parents if you can hang stuff from the ceiling first. they may not want you to do that since it will leave holes in the ceiling when you take them down.

- I am not sure that you are giving us sufficient information. I presume that your crane truck has the boom hinged quite close to the ground, but I am sure that the specified lifting weights will not be achieved until the boom makes an angle of at least 45 degrees with the ground. The 115 foot boom will then sweep a circle of 115 x cos(45) = 81.3 feet, and lift a maximum of 115 x sin(45) = 81.3 feet above the hinge. If the boom is elevated to a 60 degree angle, the circle swept will be only 57.5 feet, but it will lift 99.5 feet. If the boom is lowered to 30 degrees, the circle swept enlarges, bt the distance lifted drops, and the weight lifting capability will also be derated. If the crane has a tower and the weight rating is for a horizontal boom, the maths are quite different.
