TC6024A tower crane is hoisting and conveying machinery which is designed  by fully utilizing the group technology, the combinational design technology and the finite element analysis technology and taking the tower crane microcomputer design platform as a tool and has excellent performance.

The crane is a horizontal-arm-rest trolley-amplitude upper-revolution hydraulic lifting type crane which has the effective amplitude of 50m and the maximum lifting moment of 438kN•m. The tower crane has the lifting height of 29m and the adhesion lifting height of 120m (2 magnification) during independent use.

All the speed indexes of the crane meet or surpass national standards.
The crane has the total installed capacity of 24.9kW, features advanced parameters, excellent and reliable properties, attractive appearance, high quality, simple and practical structures, advanced safety devices, convenient maintenance, safe usage and reasonable prices, and is ideal construction machinery for many medium-small construction enterprises

It can also be called a fixed crane. But there are many kinds of fixed cranes.

I can use anything pretty much (pulleys, levers, etc.) The goal is to make a crane with a claw that can pick up a weighted container in a tub of water. Steel, like you said, do you want an exact specification? That will vary by whether it is a very long and slender tall crane or a shorter heavy duty for considerable loads. It may even vary depending on whether the manufacturer has as a goal an extra light weight unit using more expensive stronger steel or is willing to use thicker walls to use more ordinary steel. That is what engineers are for.
Q:What are the safety devices in a tower crane?
(1) lift height limit position limiterFor cranes with variable boom angles, the lifting motion must be stopped immediately when the top of the lifting device rises to the 8OOmm at the lower end of the boom.For luffing cranes, lift the top of the hook to the lower end of the frame 500mm. The lifting movement must be stopped immediately.(2) lifting moment limiter and maximum lift limiter;When the lifting torque reaches 90% of its rated value, the lifting torque limiter shall be able to issue an acoustic or red light to indicate the alarm. When the lifting torque exceeds its rated value and reaches 108% of the rated value, the lifting direction and outward direction shall be stopped.If the weight and amplitude indicator are set, the numerical value should be correct, clear and eye-catching. The digital error shall not exceed 5% of the indicated value.When the lifting weight exceeds the maximum weight, maximum lifting weight limiter should emit light or sound alarm, when the load exceeds the maximum weight of 6%, should stop to enhance the direction of movement, but to allow institutions towards the down direction.(3) amplitude limiting deviceA crane shall be equipped with a minimum amplitude limiter and a device for preventing the boom from rebounding backward. The trolley must be equipped with a trolley switch and a terminal buffer.(4) rail clamping device and walking spacing deviceTrack type tower cranes must be equipped with rail clamps. A walking limit device shall be installed at the same time.(5) anemometer;For cranes with a hinge height of more than 50m at the root of the boom, a anemometer shall be installed at the top.(6) lightning protection and anti electromagnetic wave induction device;For the crane whose hinge height is over 50m, the lightning arrester shall be installed according to the actual situation and the electromagnetic interference shall be taken.(7) tower crane shall install limit torque coupling in order to prevent slewing overload.

It might - but the center of gravity and the tripod might not be able to hold the weight of the jib, camera, counter-weights... and personally, I think it would be a pretty expensive mistake to watch my $2,000 camcorder fall and brake because the camera crane collapsed under the weight. A mic tripod is designed to handle about a pound of weight. A consumer camcorder, the jib and counterweights (and maybe a mic or whatever else you throw on there) can be between 5 pounds and 50 pounds. That's why companies like Kessler make what they make. And that's why the companies that makes lesser camera cranes (Cobra, CameraCranes, and others) never use a mic tripod. They use a heavy duty camera tripod or other LARGE, STRONG, item - not a mic stand.
