- Q: Anyone have any experience with a Dyson?
- I use a dyson on my floors and it works wonderful, though i don't use the power head on the hard wood floors and the rotation on the brush can cause damage but the normal head that comes with it is fantastic. Some vaccums have ranges where they are suited for pet hairs I am not sure about dyson as I don't have pets in the house, but with 2 girls in the hosue with long long hair it helps to have a good vaccum and my choice is dyson!
- Q: I am trying to find an inexpensive vacuum for my apartment. One day I will buy a fancy expensive one but I need one now and that is not what I can afford. I have been looking at what vacuums people recommend and it sounds like the bagged vacuums work better. However, most of the ones in the stores are bagless so I had assumed that was better. Is that only true with high end machines? Or is everyone carrying bagless just because they look cooler on the shelves?
- Bagless vacuums are getting hard to find. Go to a vacuum repair shop and see if they have any reconditioned ones for sale.

- Q: Are there any products that work well, e.g. cleaners, mops, wet/dry vacuum-mops?
- I use the Swifer WetJet - it is safe for the floor and cleans beautifully!!! It took a bit to dry, but it dries without smearing or streaks. Everything else I've tried leaves streak marks. Also, you can get a $5 off coupon from swifer on their web site. ...otherwise you can follow the advise of the guy who installed my floors...he said just a small amount of dish soap and water, but I found that to leave streaks.

Is it best to get one that attached to a furnace (but then its only running when the heat or AC is on) or a few smaller ones and move them room to room?Also, I understand that it is imprtant to try and vacuum with a HEPA vacuum. - lol yes it still hoovers! instead of going into a bag it goes into a compartment in the hoover, which when full u can take off and empty... then put it back on... works exactly the same as a bag hoover, just more convienient and easier!

Vacuum cleaners suck up dust and dirt from floors, upholstry, curtains, etc. Air purifiers clean the air by removing airborne pollen, dirt, dander, etc. They work without the use of your heating/air conditioning unit, and are portable.
