Q: Well i'm looking for bedding for when i get my room redone, i found a nice bedding. but it only sells it in either, twin size or queen size. i need it for a single bed. is twin size too big or does it mean single ? :S: Single and Twin bedding are the same size.

Q: I have an old mattress, an antique but in good shape. I have a foam topper on the top. Lately, I have been sleeping in another bed in the house (which is a waterbed) but last night did not do to outside noise (I am a severe insomniac). I was sleeping VERY well in this other bed but last night I woke up all night after sleeping maybe 10 minutes at a time. I have always thought my bed was comfortable but am wondering now if my insomnia could be attributed to my bed? Are the memory foam (non Tempur Pedic brand) good? I have seen one for my size bed under 400.00. What could be my problem? I wake all night.: I slept on foam for years...my bed was in a loft so stayed warm and toasty. I moved to another house and had my bed on the floor, was way cold so I bought a new bed, box spring and frame to get me off the floor...I was amazed at how much more comfortable I was and how much better I slept. I don't know about the memory foam you asked about...when I bought my bed I went to every store in town that offers bed sets, spent hours laying on different beds in the stores, found a knowledgeable salesman to ask questions and have been very very happy with my bed for the last 7 years.

Q: We are changing over from my sons crib to a twin bed for him and we are looking for a good bed rail. I prefer something over 40inches as he rolls around a lot I've read many bed rails require a box spring. His Bed doesn't have a box spring with it, as the boxspring itself is made into the bed. I've also read about bed rails that don't fit snug to the bed, this would be something of concern as I've mentioned before my son moves around a lot most nights sometimes likes to sleep up against the railing on the crib it self.Where did you purchase yours as well? I can only order one as there are no places around here to buy from the store, Our walmart doesnt carry them on site you have to order.Thanks :): I okorder /

Q: I have a Weimaraner and she sometimes jumps on the bed. what about you guys.: No, my dog never really wants to get into our beds. The most he will do is if both me and my partner are on the bed in the morning, he may jump up just to be with us. He likes the whole family together. But I never encourage this behaviour....but more from a size perspective. I have a 140 lbs Newfie, if he gets up on the bed....hmm, where do I sleep? Plus he likes cool. Even I allow him on the couch but he does not last more than 5 mins there. Naturally he picks the coolest spot to sleep (basement). If I allow him into the cold room, he will sleep there too. I know people don't allow dogs on bed based on this dominance theory. I will accept it to a tiny degree, I have my doubt. If you check out further, this whole dominance theory is not very well researched out. Even on this whole alpha roll thing, the latest research demonstrates this rolling on the back behaviour is generated by the followers, the leader of a wolf pack never forcefully roll his pack members. From my own experience, I never find any difference in my dog's behaviour before and after I let him get up to the bed. He still listens to me, he still does very well on off leash, and still tries to steal my winter hat everytime we go out.

Q: I was thinking maybe lights, or fabric.: Since it has such a unique design, too much will take away from that. My daughter has an old 4 poster canopy bed and we just hung fabric from the rail that runs parallel to the headboard. WE drapped a LONG, white tulle, curtain over the rail so it hangs down behind the headboard. You can still see the wall color thru it, but it adds just enough detail, interest, and softness w/out taking away from the beauty of the bed itself. You could also use beads in addition to or in place of drapping fabric.

Q: can bed bugs jump from the bed to carpet or clothes or where else can they live and how can i prevent them from getting in my house? any good bedbug spray?: They can get in your house by various ways, pets can bring them in on their fur, if you get a mouse infestation, or if a bird gats into your house, you can also bring them in on your clothes. To get rid of them you can use a pesticide, but if I had them I'd get a new matress
