- the difference between a toddler bed and a twin is length mostly... the heighth from the floor is the same, and for a little bit of money you can buy temporary fold down rails at walmart.... back in the good old days there werent toddler beds you simply went from crib to twin. dont foget if the crib got recalled , the company may compensate you.... with another one or replacement parts.

- as long as it is not wood shavings or made from wood. care fresh is a good one. it's made of recycled paper. don't use anything that is small and crumbly as the ferret may get it up it's nose and this could cause respiratory problems. you can also use old sheets,blankets, clothes(remove buttons)scrap material, etc. don't use anything that they might get a toe nail caught in. ie: terry cloth hope this helps.

- collars no... cat and dog beds.. sure.. basics.. cut a large oval or rectangle you dont need sides.. you really dont need a sewing machine either.. hand stitch the outsides together leaving about a 1/4 inch around the edge. and then use a running stitch to seal it completely .. leave about a 2 inch hole to stuff.. turn the pet pillow right-side out and stuff away.. seal the hole and you can add a decorative button to the middle my cats love theirs!

- you can put any bed you want under your new mattress and what you choose is totally dependant on your taste and style as well as the size of your room. for example a sleigh bed needs agreat deal more space than a craftsman style or a four poster style. thats because the curve in the sleigh beds head and footboards add a great deal of length to the bed. if you like the brass beds or metal beds make sure they are strong - many of the cheaper models wobble. i would suggest a good wood bed -not a wood composite - real wood will last forever and can be refinished as time goes on. check out ikea they have a large selection of beds and their prices are very reasonable. if you want a bed that is unique to you and no one else has the same one - consider purchasing your bed from an unfinished furniture shop then finish/paint/stain the bed to your own taste! it could be fun and you'll have a bed totally suited to your personal taste! good luck with it all and enjoy your shopping!

- Get a bedwetting alarm, there pricey but they can help. Also your doctor may be able to give her medication to help her with her problem.

- Well, he takes the other half of the bed just out of reach after he settles down. After I get into bed he jumps up and comes over to kneed my shoulder for a short time before he lays down to go to sleep. Sometimes he also likes a belly rub.

- slatted bed bases are for support, so your mattress doesn't fall through the bed frame. yes, you need it. Depends on the bed frame. Most Ikea bed frame should be compatible to regular mattresses but I've seen some that don't fit. FYI Ikea beds aren't that great unless it's for the guest room. I recommend going to bed factory outlet store, you'll get a good deal there.
