- Q: I want to start wetting the bed at night. How do I make myself pee the bed while sleeping?
- Why? It's unsanitary and just plain gross. But try drinking a gallon of water right before bed.

- In most cases the bed will shake for any or all of three reasons: either 1) the floor beneath the bed is uneven, or 2) the bed framing may be loose (pulled nails, stripped or loose bolts, etc), or 3) one or more of the bed posts may have shrunk creating an unstable frame. If its at all possible, and you have the space, I would recommend separating the bunks into 2 single beds. That way your sister's bed will shift very little, if at all. If the bunks can't be separated, perhaps your sister could sleep on the bottom bunk as it is the top bunk that has the highest potential for movement. Another option would be to bolt the bunk frame directly to the wall, being sure the bolts are screwed directly into the wall studs. That way the bed is directly supported by the structure of the house and shouldn't shift very much.
- Q: I have an old mattress, an antique but in good shape. I have a foam topper on the top. Lately, I have been sleeping in another bed in the house (which is a waterbed) but last night did not do to outside noise (I am a severe insomniac). I was sleeping VERY well in this other bed but last night I woke up all night after sleeping maybe 10 minutes at a time. - I slept on foam for years...my bed was in a loft so stayed warm and toasty. I moved to another house and had my bed on the floor, was way cold so I bought a new bed, box spring and frame to get me off the floor...I was amazed at how much more comfortable I was and how much better I slept. I don't know about the memory foam you asked about...when I bought my bed I went to every store in town that offers bed sets, spent hours laying on different beds in the stores, found a knowledgeable salesman to ask questions and have been very very happy with my bed for the last 7 years.

- A very odd question and I'm not sure if I understand the wording correctly, but I'll see if I do. 1. If you had a sand dune on a river bed, the direction of flow could be determined by the shape of the dune in the same way that you can see the wind direction from the shape of a dune in the desert. The steep side will be on the downstream side. 2. I think it is cross bedding, because the other two really don't seem to fit the description, but I wouldn't bet your grade on it. Since bedding refers to how a rock formation was laid down it is hard to say which your teacher is looking for. A sand dune migrates and would not be there long enough to become part of the bedrock especially an underwater sand dune.
