- Technically, yes. A king is a king, but do all these adults really want to be sleeping all together? This makes for one uncomfortable situation in more ways then one and you're worried about how someone would feel on a sofa bed? Best to go for a room with two queen sized beds.

- they won't be able to hang on to a moving ceiling fan. You can put vasoline on the metal table legs to keep them from climbing up. Move your bed away from the wall and keep your sheets and blankets from touching the floor. Do you have a wood bed frame, they could be in there or already in your mattress or boxspring. A solution, call an exterminator to get rid of the bed bugs. Sprays alone will not eliminate them, they will have to use steam. If they have a bed bug dog take advantage of it because the dog will point out the source. Good luck!

- Human beings have shared beds since before we had beds, you know. You don't think we all huddled freezing and alone in separate parts of our caves, right? In fact, separate beds for families are a very new invention. Siblings sharing a bed will have no bed effects on the children, all other things being equal. It will provide security and comradarie. We did it for a few years, and it was very nice. At 10, our oldest asked for his own bed and we got it for him. (My dad grew up very very poor and shared a bed made of coats on a spring with ten siblings. ) It's so funny to read all these people stating kids must sleep alone to be healthy, or they'll never want to sleep alone. As I look around at adults, most of whom did grow up with cribs and forced night time aloneness, and I see lots of sleeping pill use and bed hopping and the 'i don't like to sleep alone' song running through everyone's minds... Meet kids' needs when they're young and they will actually become independent when they are older. Force them to act independent before they are ready, and you get a lifetime of insecurity, and, well, acting.

- my baby is almost 3months and has been sleeping with us since she was probably 3 or 4 weeks. when she was sleeping all the time she slept in her bassinet but since she started being up a lot more she realized she was in there and didnt like it at all. so we just put her in bed and she falls asleep on her own besides nap time. but i think its ok as long as you know she is there and dont roll over her at all thats dangerous. and no pillow and tight sheets no big blankets only baby blankets make sure she isnt next to anything that she can roll under and suffocate. even if they are so tiny they still might roll you just want to be safe. if you decide not for her to sleep in your bed get her a crib or even a bassinet until she is bigger
