Q: OK, so pretty much this is where im at, I clipped the connector off the wires that went into my stock stereo and now have the wires from my new deck and pretty sure I just have to connect them. Q: i have two 12 gauge wires running from my battery to my sub amplifier, does this effectivly mean i have 6 gauges. each wire has a 15 amp fuse so does that also mean i have a 30 amp fuse?: Id say run 3 strands minimal because sometime it says its a certain gauge but there is not much wire inside, and to add the the 2X 12gauge = 9 gauge use 3 strands.. better chance of working right.
