Q: can not receive e mail to my mobile phone.
still I cannot gat my e.mail on my mobile.I have shared mobile phone with my daughter. up till three day a go I was receiving mail but now showing cannot load new mail.
Q: I am at a loss right now because i cant find the phone that fits me i love the blackberry tour but the no wifi thing really bothers me. i started to look at the windows mobile phones because of the fact of internet explorer mobile which in my opinion is a much easier to navigate browser than the black berry one and also the microsoft officebut the short battery life and the fact that most of them are touch screen turns me away from themm( i just dont do touch screen).I definately want a qwerty keyboardAny advice on a good phone???
Blackberries are great. They have great hardware, a decent appstore, and some of the best keyboards. Windows Mobile has a lot of choices of phones to choose from but the fact is windows mobile is not a very reliable OS. Its usuable but what I'm saying is I prefer the blackberry (although WM probably has better web browsing). Phones to choose: Blackberry- Curve 8900, Bold, Storm 2 (no QWERTY) WM- Jack, Epix, Blackjack 2 (All of these have INCREDIBLE battery life), then any HTC phone with WM.

Q: I picked out this phone on the T-Mobile website, and it won't let me check out. I think it will only let me check out if I choose a monthly rate plan, but I don't need one. Is there any way I can just buy the phone off the website, or do I need to buy a plan for it? I don't need a plan, so do I need to go to a local T-Mobile store, and buy one there? Will they have all the inventory they display on their website? Detailed answers will most likely get Best Answer. :) Thank you everyone who helps!!
Usually the website has phones priced to go with a 2yr contact. You would need to call T-Mobile customer care and ask them. They are really nice and easy to get answers from. You can buy phones at the store but, you will likely have to pay retail which is way expensive up front but, you won't be stuck in a new contract if yours is already up. You have to weigh your options as far as that goes. Sometimes you can get a good deal on OKorder as far as phones go. Good Luck!
Q: Hi guys :), umm I needa new phone n I'm thinking of buying it from t-mobile but I wanna hook it up to metropcs. I heared not all tmobile phone have SMS cards. So can u help me by listing some cheap phones dat don't have SMS cards? I would rlly apperciate that :) -Jasmine

Q: I'm currently with Verizon right now and I have a Blackberry. I have a really cute Samsung phone too that I used when I was with T-mobile. If my blackberry ever dies or something like that, can I use the samsung phone?
interior the final couple of months, service carriers are switching sport. Verizon instantaneous, are a ok service no longer the terrific. Cingular has sturdy reception, purely relies upon whast telephone you get. T cellular has sturdy service and suited customer help skills! yet enormous apple far the terrific one now could be sprint. They spend 30million on their community, and quickly to be taking Cingulars spot.
Q: How to find credibility of any online mobile phone company?
My mom and dad and kin insist on ATT (Cingular) that's ok different than i % T-cellular with the aid of fact i'm a huge texter and that i % an entire qwerty keyboard devoid of having a blackberry or a blackjack. ATT is reliable for households with the aid of finished deals they supply like purchase one telephone and get 3 extra. Plus texting limitless is notably dang much less high priced. Oh yet, waiting for an improve takes continuously! 2 years after purchase of modern telephone. Rippp-offf! Thye have alot of telephones that have cameras and a few of them different stuff too, case in point my advert has the sync which has the geared up in stuff yet he has 3 ipod nanos already! and you may text fabric ON each telephone. each PLAN and business enterprise has that. only be certain it relatively is enabled :) Btw, I stay in Denver. Isnt that weird and wonderful (IDK, im suger extreme ceremony now)
Q: 950 million phones sold last year and the total worldwide mobile subscriber base grew from 2.1 billion to 2.7 billion. Phones are replaced every 18 months. How many people have more then one mobile phone? what do they do with old theyone?
I would suspect there are a LOT of people who keep at least one old phone around just in case they break their new phone, especially if that old phone is some plain-jane phone that isn't worth much on the used market. If the phone is actually still worth anything on the 2nd hand market, they often get sold on OKorder, craigs list, local newspaper etc. Many, and I mean a LOT of phones never fully survive 2 years. You are also looking at this from a very skewed perspective, that of the 2 year contract or 18 month replacement cycle. In Europe, it is normal to purchase the phone and the service separately, no contract, no subsidy, no waiting 18 or 24 months before replacing a phone. You are free to buy a phone, or many (at retail, maybe $500-$900+ for a smart phone) sell at will, swap your SIM from one to another. It would not be strange to have a phone for work, one for the weekend, an old beater for dirty enviroments Also, if you are someone who just wants a plain old mobile for Emergency use or to make the occasional phone call, there is no reason you can't keep the phone for 3,4,5 years. There are just WAY to many variables between total sold and total subscribers to make any kind of real comparison. If the subscribers grew by 1 billion, but number of phones sold grew by 500 million, then you could conclude that the used phone business is doing very well, but short of that, you just can't make any comparisons from those numbers.
Q: I want my documentaries to be playable on the technologies inside home. The television, the videos and others but they can not play the clips directly from my phone .On the converting software what file format do i say that i want my video clips to look like?
Hi Amuoro, and welcome to Y!A Camcorders: You've been asking about this same thing 5 times over the past month in various other Categories, but never have you said WHICH mobile phone model # you have. Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading. Since you are relatively new to Yahoo!Answers, you might not know that you can Update your Question using the Additional Details link on the Action Bar below your Question text. Just mouse-over the blue pencil icon Edit menu, and add the details about your phone and computer. This discussion will remain open for at least 4 days, for us to reply. hope this helps, --Dennis C.
Q: I bought this cool mobile phone and i want to set it up for gprs im using mtn and vodacom i calld mtn and they say i must set it manually by the technicians. any one who know how to set it manualy please help i want to browse the internet. im in south africa
first u have to tell about the model or company of the phone but if not then follow these easy steps may be this work Select a Frequency Band to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the phone's settings from the phone's main menu. Note: In countries outside of the United States or North America, you typically need to use the 900 MHz/1800 MHz frequency to get a GPRS signal from one of the mobile providers in another country. Step 2Click the Network option from the menu that appears. Step 3Select Band to begin the band selection. Step 4Click on the band option that you want to activate a GPRS connection, such as 850/1900, 900/1800 or automatic if you are uncertain of the GPRS band. Step 5Turn the device off and then back on if it does not automatically select the band and you have selected the automatic option. Create a Network Connection to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the main menu on the phone to get to the settings menu. Step 2Click Network, and then Network Setup (which usually appears as an option but depends on your model of phone). Step 3Select Manual or Automatic. Note: You want to set your phone's option to Automatic so you can establish a GPRS connection with your mobile provider. However, select Manual if you want to choose a different network. Step 4Make sure that your phone connects and you can begin to make calls. Reset the Phone to Activate GPRS Step 1Pull the battery out of your phone while it is turned on. Note: It is necessary to reset your phone at times if there are network glitches or coverage issues. This will re-establish your connect with a mobile provider's network. Step 2Wait approximately 30 seconds, then re-insert the battery. Step 3Press and hold the red Power button on your phone to turn it on. Step 4Make sure that your phone displays the GPRS icon in the status bar to verify you are reconnected with your network.
