Q: i'm 16, is it embarrassing to have a prepaid phone on virgin mobile?because my parents took away my other phone last year becase my grades went down, and that's all they let me have now. and do they have full keyboard phones on prepaid?do you have to use cards to pay for service?
No. I know people that have a Virgin Mobile phone, most people don't know the difference. I myself have always used a prepaid phone. It's not embarrassing, in fact Virgin Mobile actually has some pretty cool phones. They have the X-tc which is a full keyboard phone and they used to have the wildcard but they don't sell that one through the website anymore. You can pay for your service through cards or through credit card by calling a number on your phone.
Q: I want to use my mobile phone to make a purchase using my credit card on a mobile website. I trust the website itself. However, should I trust the WAP technology? How likely is it (from a security pespective) that someone could steal my private information?
Any information sent over a mobile phone is broadcast using an electromagnetic transmission which can be monitored, recorded and deciphered by interested parties. I cannot quantify the danger, but it is greater than that of an order sent over telephone lines.
Q: What is mobile phone PA?
PA (power amplifier) refers to the amplifier can output high-power signal amplifier.
Q: For a long time I've had a strong feeling that my wife is cheating on me. She doesn't allow me to get near her cell phone and she's always coming home late from work. I've been looking at a lot of different phone spy sites but none of them offers what I need. I need an app that does not require hard install and it will allow me to intercept all her sms and calls. It should forward them either to my phone or my online account that I can view it on my PC. Does anybody know of a mobile spy like that?

Q: Based on the responses to my question, I compiled this list of mobile phone prefix numbers. Is the list complete / accurate ?Mobile Prefix NumbersSmart ------------909910918919920921928929Globe --------------905906915916917926927Sun ---------------922923Thank you.
You did a pretty good job there. Only thing I can see is 912 for Smart missing from your list. Here's what Wikipedia has Express Telecom: 973, 974 Globe Telecom: 905, 906, 915, 916, 917, 926, 927 Next Mobile: 979 Smart Communications: 909, 910, 912, 918, 919, 920, 921, 928, 929 Sun Cellular: 922, 923 Phlippines Mobile phone area codes Mobile phone area codes are three digits long and always start with the number 9. Unlike fixed-line telephones, the long-distance telephone dialing format is always observed when using a mobile phone. Originally, there were only three area codes for mobile phones: 917 for Globe Telecom, 918 for Smart Communications and 973 for Express Telecom, the three existing mobile companies at the time. As service grew rapidly throughout the 1990s and even until today, new codes have been added to fulfill demand as existing codes have since been exhausted. Codes added usually come after the immediate last code exhausted, although this may not be the case when the next code is already in use. Areas codes are grouped by provider with no single contiguous block of codes for a single provider. These companies and their respective area codes are listed above.
Q: I have a Virgin Mobile phone with me that has bad ESN and i was wondering if it will just expire after an amount of time and if it does how long would it take?
Easy answer. If the phone has been reported lost, the ESN stays bad, until the original owner clears it. If the phone has been reported, the ESN stays bad until the original owner clears it. If the phone was under contract and the contract was broken, and ETF was not paid, the ESN stays bad until the original owner or the new owner pays the ETF and or final bill. I don't know very many second had owners stupid enough to pay the original owners final bill or ETF. But of which are often more than the phone is worth. But if the original owner pays it, no big deal. So as you note the THEME here, it's forever, unless the original owner who the phone was registered to, calls in or goes into a Virgin Mobile store WITH ID, to take care of whatever reason the phone's ESN is considered BAD.
Q: I just bought a sidekick 3 off of OKorder.when i passed my local metropcs store, they said they sold t-mobile phones. But i never asked them if they can have their cell phone plans on the t-mobile phones. Is that possible?
no because metro pcs phones don't use sim cards you have to buy their phones .if you could do that a lot of people will go to metro pcs
Q: Why smart phones often crashes?
If you open the program will appear more than a crash.
Q: I want a mobile phone like Samsung Corby or Blackberry or Nokia Xpressmusic Touchscreen that has WiFi Dont give me iPod Touch. I want it from Samsung or Blackberry or Nokia. Plz SAMSUNG OR BLACKBERRY OR NOKIA MOBILES THAT HAVE WIFI I need it.DONT ASK ME TO BUY ANOTHER MOBILES AND IT SHOULD BE CHEAP.

Q: I would like to get my mom a prepaid cell phone for emergencies. I have an old Boost mobile phone, does anyone know if that cab be re-activated? Or, should I just get a new phone from somebody else?
Yes you can reactivate your old Boost Mobile phone. However when you call Boost Customer Care they will ask for your sim card number and phone model number. There will be a extra $10 activation fee to reinstate service since the phone and sim card has previously been activated and cancel. Just let them know that you are giving this cell to your mother. You need to purchase a Boost Re-fill card at any retail store before you re-activate with Boost Mobile again.
