- Q: I've had my scaffolding piercing for about a week now and when cleaning i've just dabbed the hydrogen peroxide and salt water around my ear. However i read that i should be rotating it when cleaning it. Should i rotate it after only a week?
- don't rotate it and stop using hydrogen peroxide only use warm water mixed with sea salt or anti-bacterial soap(dial),saline solution(contact cleaner),h20ocean piercing spray found at hottopic. you can turn the bar to clean it to get the other side clean but never rotate it. it'll make the piercing healing process alot slower and it can cause problems.
- Q: How to calculate the fastener type steel pipe scaffold
- 1.1.2 provides for the temporary structure of the scaffolding structure, the structure of the importance coefficient of gamma 0 take 0.9. ?The scaffold structure design of 1.1.3 on reliability requirements, considering that there is no enough statistical data accumulated by the situation, determine the probability limit state design, should be consistent with our historical experience, if using a single coefficient method was designed, the single safety coefficient should be satisfied: the strength calculation of K1 = 1.5 the stability calculation; K2 = 2. To this end, in the calculation of the introduction of the material strength of the additional coefficient of gamma 'm' or resistance to the addition of partial coefficient gamma 'R, gamma' R= gamma 0 gamma 'm=0.9 gamma' m.
- Q: The bottom of the cantilever scaffold must be provided with the sweeping rod
- The quality standard of the foot hand frame fittings: 1, steel pipe: (1) the steel pipe adopts the outside diameter is 48mm, the wall thickness is 3.5mm, the quality standard of the foot hand frame fittings
- Q: If you have two workers say standing on a scaffolding, their are downward forces from the weight of the workers along with the weight of the scaffold, and upward forces from tension suspending the scaffolding in place. The opposite forces add to zero and thus the scaffolding remains at rest.My question has to do with what would occur if more/less workers were on the scaffolding. It appears to me that the scaffolding would always remain at rest. Would there always be a ΣF=0 regardless of the amount of workers? As the decreases in weight from removing a worker would also cause the tension force to be weaker? And vice versa if there were more workers?I
- You are correct so long as the scaffolding is not allowed to move. I.e. the cables suspending it are locked and not unwinding from their spools as more workers get on. More weight added would necessarily increase the tension in this type of case. However, if, when another worker got on and the tension could not increase for what ever reason, a downward acceleration would take place that is proportional to the worker's weight. Hope that clears things up.
- Q: On Wednesday day I'm planning to get this done (the top piercing). I've been thinking about it for a while now really want it.What problems can I have with this piercing? How long does it take to heal ect? Thanks =)
- i've not had scaffolding but i've got a wide range of cartilage piercings and they take about 12weeks to heal... i would just say be careful not to catch it and keep it clean. good luck :)
- Q: According to the standard set up double scaffolding scaffolding to the number of meters per square meter
- The span, the rod step is easy to calculate, I have done the program in general 4.4.8 meters
- Q: I had my scaffold done on friday, and it's still very sore and swollen. My boyfriend's accidentally caught it a couple of times but not badly and i was wondering if the pain and swelling is normal and if there's anything i can do for it. I've been cleaning it with savlon and have been careful with it x
- If it gets worse you should swear loudly at yourself for being so stupid.
- Q: What are scaffold spanners used for?
- Ratchet Podger Spanners...Aluminium Scaff Spanners Spanners are wide wrenches that are made from durable metals. Spanners are made specifically for scaffolding and are designed to fit into the tool belt nicely. Spanners are very useful for a number of jobs and are often used along with other scaffold tools on a safety lanyard to prevent dropping the tool to the street below. Spanners work the same as traditional wrenches but like many scaffolding tools are made with a hole in the end of the wrench for the safety strap to be inserted through. Stainless steel and aluminum are the most commonly used metals for spanners to ensure durability even if the item is dropped from high.
- Q: Are the terms quot;nuclear matrixquot; and quot;nuclear scaffoldquot; interchangeable? I know that when we talk about DNA compaction we say that MARs on the DNA attach to the nuclear scaffold. I am wondering if the scaffold is just a specific part of the matrix??
- For most purposes, they are interchangeable terms for the same things. Some people favor one term, some the other. The ones who favor matrix over scaffold or vice versa may have some argument as to why it is better or a difference but in general people use them interchangeably.
- Q: improper design of formwork and scaffolding, not adequate braces and supports, improper handling, corrosion of material is several factor of formwork and scaffolding failure. it is estimated that more than 3000 accidents involving falls from scaffolds and 30 fatalities
- Improper assembly seems to be a big one. Workers often neglect to install the internal diagonal from upper corner to opposite lower corner when it comes to scaffolding. Formwork usually fails by inadequate bracing at the bottom as hydrostatic pressure builds. This can be mitigated to some extent by allowing the concrete to set up a bit before pouring the next layer. For earth formwork, you have to be real careful about expansive clay becoming saturated and overwhelming the bracing as it expands.
