- Hello Carol, what you have to do with mould mildew is give as much sun to the object of course sometimes this is not possible with big objects .The Sun kills of the mildew or mould.So you can try this rub with lemon juice salt leave to dry then wipe with clear water dry , I don?t think you can remove this now as you have allready added other products but you can try , and also the reason for mould and mildew is lack of ventilation, too much dampness
- Q: Every fall we put plastic on the outside of our windows to provide added insulation during the winter. The plastice we use is said to be clear but isnt. - Q: I don't mind if its designed for another brand but I am getting very frustrated because I can't find it on GE's site or any other. I bought the unit without it in hopes I could find one online but can't find the specific one. HELP! The piece is the one that sits in the window to hold the hose in the window. The unit is a Portable AC which means it sits on the floor not in the window so its got specially designed plastic plate piece that is adjustable for your window size.
- Measure the window opening and go to a glass place with the hose and have them make you a lexan piece to fit the window with a hole in it. Lexan is very sturdy. You can run a rod straight thru the outside part of hose to keep it in place or tape it. It isn't like some technically expensive part to make. Actually it will probably be better than original. BTW, keep the hose as short as you can as it gets warm and heats the room as the compressor cools it. I had one and the closest I could get was 5 feet and it didn't help at all.

- confident you may... yet do not. it is going to take you a minimum of three tries to get it to look halfways good and except you will get actual each and every bubble out and each factor suited, it is going to peel off finally do to the flex of the backside window. in simple terms my 2 cents, regardless of if it won't seem the way you like it to.

- Q: I have tried the heating up shrink wrap and the double sided sticky tape won't hold on my wall. So I bought a thick layer of plastic and tried to hold it up with tacks and just duct tape around it. The duct tape also comes peeling of my walls. Is there some kind of tape/glue that can hold this plastic up and not peel off my walls?

- As a former renter of a California apartment (no longer in CA, much better where I am now) The landlord had that stipulation in the lease. Read it carefully though. Mine said that we were not allowed to take them down, it didn't say anything about hiding them. I pulled my hideously old aluminum blinds as far up as they would go, and put up my curtains on top of them. So, I didn't violate the rules of my lease, and I didn't have those horrible dust collectors blocking my sunlight! Good luck, I know how difficult it can be!

Is there another method that I can try? Is there any kind of spray or dye? Also, I would like mirror tint. Is that possible? The plastic can flex a little, so it has to be able to withstand that.I don't have to worry about whether or not the tint complies with the law. So, there are no restrictions.
- If it's plastic, you can spray tinted clearcoat over it. Some films should work. It's what people do when tinting tail lights.
