Definition of  Good Quality Pure Calcium Aluminate Cement

It is a kind of aluminate cement wrought material based upon calcium aluminate, it is called Aluminate cement when it has been finegrinded to hydraulicity cementing material, its code is CA. When the cement has a grinded Al2O3 content of above 68%, it can be added with appropriate amount of α-Al2O3 powder as requirement.

Type of Good Quality Pure Calcium Aluminate Cement

Aluminate cement can be classified into four kinds by Al2O3 content:

CA-50, CA-60, CA-70,CA-80

Application of Good Quality Pure Calcium Aluminate Cement

It can be used to formulate unshape refractory material; expansive cement, self-stressing cement, addition material of chemical construction material and projects with special requirements.

Q: We have a very low slope roof, nearly flat. A local roofer proposed to redo it using only a base sheet and roofing cement. This sounds like it's probably a cheaper cut corner way to do it. Is this common?
I'm no expert, but I have the same kind of garage roof and I've had it done twice in 17 years with the rolled roofing and if it's done right, they didn't even use cement. I confess, the first time I fixed it myself and I did use the roofing cement. It was fine but I never did get the gutters on right, forgot the drip cap and so the back end of the roof rotted within 4 years. Eventually I had a handy man redo it and he did a better job that lasted for awhile, but a wind storm ripped it half off after about 6 years. My neighbors don't have nearly as many problems as I do with their garage roofs. In fact, I've never seen them repairing theirs. I'm actually in the midst of getting roofing bids myself, for the house and the garage. I've heard a lot about the rubber roofing on garage roofs but I've seen some bad reviews for that. I've gotten some good information from my city building inspectors on their opinions and they are unbiased. Good luck to you.
Q: My parents had a new cement driveway put down last summer, and accidentally used a non-safe-for-cement salt, and now it is flaking in small areas. Can this damaged be repaired by some kind of patch or filler compound - or is the damage permanent.
Salt Cement
Q: Please help me out here
7 tons of cement 11.67 tons of gravel 16.33 tons of sand. Say X is the amount of cement (don't worry about the 3). How much gravel is there in relation to cement? 5/3 as much. For every 3 of cement, there's 5 of gravel. How about the sand? There's 7/3 as much sand as there is cement. So now you can restate the whole thing with respect to cement: However much cement + 5/3 more gravel than cement + 7/3 more sand than cement = 35 tons. X + (5/3)X + (7/3)X = 35. X ends up equaling 7, (5/3)X is 11.67, and (7/3)X is 16.33. Hope this helps!
Q: I made extra cement that I don't want to throw out. I will be using it again in 22hrs, if I can. It got dark out before I could finish my job so my ? Is how to keep it ready for tomm. I'll be at work all day and can't keep adding water to it
Only way that I could think that would remotely give you a slim chance would be to keep your cement mixer running with the mix inside it with plenty of mortar plasticizer added to the gauging water and then again in the morning add more water with plasticizer and hope for the best.
Q: We have a balcony, and would like to turn in into a patio. The rain get on which is fine, but there are some parts of the balcony that is a little low, causing a puddle. We bought black roof cement to fill it up but at times it soft. What do I do to keep it hard and dry? Or am I buying the wrong product?
Are you planning on putting something over the roof? Pavers, wood decking, etc. If not, be careful, most roofing materials are not made to handle frequent foot traffic. Should you decide to put something over it, make sure the framing can handle the additional load.
Q: 1) with river sand2) with lime3) with fly ash please give the reason too.
cement or concrete. Cement is baked lime. Concrete is a mixture of sand gravel and cement. Fly ash is more of a lubricant and helps to give you a smoother finish. A basic mixture for concrete is 1 cement 2 gravel and 3 sand. To increase the basic strength add more cement as cement is the binder. To much cement and the result will be crumbly. The more sharp points in the type of sand or the more surface texture of the rock increases strength. reinforcement wire or bar will increase structure strength. Dan
Q: Whats the difference between masonry cement and mortar? If you mix portland cement with sand does it become masonry cement or mortar?
CEMEX’s Type N Masonry Cement, Type S Masonry Cement and Type M Masonry Cement are specially formulated and manufactured to produce masonry mortar. The masonry mortar is often used in brick, concrete block and stone masonry construction; also used to produce stone plaster.
Q: I need to glue a small plastic piece to another plastic piece, will the cement work? What are the steps in gluing and making sure the glue holds?
where did you buy the barge cement glue here in singapore?
Q: I have a poured cement shower stall floor. I painted it once with oil base deck paint and it still peeled. Does anyone know what kind paint can live in a shower condition?
Before you put any type of cement epoxy or stain on the floor you must first etch the surface (open the pores) with muratic acid. Follow the directions carefully, using rubber gloves and a respirator (not paper dust mask). Rinse thoroughly, then I suggest a floor epoxy product.
Q: how to get rubber cement of the front of a picture?
Rubber cement eraser. Its useful for just such an occasion. It looks a bit like French Toast.
