1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: In my home, we have polished tiles. My kid has fall-down most of the time. Can anyone help me to remove polish from ceramic tiles?
- You do not want to do this for two reasons. One is that it will take away all the protection from the tile that allows the tile itself to be water proof and stain proof. Take away the glaze and the tile will stain. The second reason is that the glaze provides most of the tile body strength. A couple of things to help prevent tiles from being slick.. Remove all wet shoes and keep the floor dry. Hard with kids I know. Anti slip area rugs helps. And lastly there are products that you can use in the mop water that helps the tiles from being slick. - Q: Can u burn tiles?
- Ceramic tiles? Not in the least. Vinyl tiles will melt at a lower temperature but will burn some at higher temps.. Ceiling tiles are all different, they are flame retardant some but again will burn at high temps. GL

- yes, you should remove everything and install cement board as your new underlayment

- I would recommend using cement board in the shower (assuming you will be taking the green board out). You'll be using the 1/2 cement board for the walls. While you're at it, don't forget to install a moisture barrier, and be sure to seal the joints of the cement board with modified thinset and waterproofing membrane, and don't make the mistake of using mastic for setting tiles. If it's just around the bathroom walls and not in the shower, consider the size and weight of the tiles. If they are just your standard 4 1/4 tiles, just tile straight to the wall. Make sure the surface is prepped properly. Shoot me an email if you have any other questions.
- Q: Ok so our bathroom is old and crappy and the faucet in the shower always come off. I was taking a shower and when i went to put back the body wash it fell and must have landed on the faucet and the faucet came off and two tiles along with it. The tiles are broken into little pieces. My mom is gonna be mad but it wasn‘t even my fault im so scared =(

- Q: Hi Folks,Currently I have a bath tub with a vinyl shower surround. I‘m considering removing the shower surround and replacing it with tile.I‘m just wondering how big of a job this is? I‘ve never tiled before but consider myself handy and have done plenty around the house.Of note, I don‘t believe proper backboard is underneath the surround so I‘d have to put that up also. I‘ve put drywall up in the past so I think that part should be ok.So...is this a do it yourself job? Or is this something that needs to be hired out for. Seems like it should be simple, but maybe I‘m missing something and it gets complicated or difficult to make come out nice?Also, how long should this take if I did it myself (days and hours per day) and how long before I can start using the shower again.Thanks!
- Start by getting a good tile book that throughly covers shower stalls. I recently remolded a bathroom that started as a simple hey lets tile the shower project. The job can get as big as you make it. In my case I pulled out the standard shower shell existing bath tub, knocked out a closet and turned a standard shower stall into 30 sf showering paradise with a jucuzzi bathtub. First of all, anything you put tile on besides concrete has to have a cement board behind it! (Hardibacker or similar-available at your home improvement stores). There will be lots of dust from removing any existing drywall so use a good quality mask like a painters mask too. I would plan on it taking a couple months if you plan on working on it during the evenings or weekends. My project took nearly 6 months of evenings and weekends and forced my wife and I to share a bathroom with 2 kids-worth it in the end but I probabbly wouldn't go thru it again. If you remove your old shower, you'll be dealing with an new drain as you'll have to build the foundation for the tile out of deck mud. Lowes' or Home Depot did not carry deck mud so I bought my from the local tile store. You can mix you own as a lot of web sites have lots of info on this but I bought mine premixed. You can use the existing shower pan but I preferred the feel of tile vs. the shower pan, not only that my shower is a completely custom shape so I couldn't get a pan to cover it. If your not sure how to build the base, stick with the pan or you can mess up things and end up with leaks that you do not want.
- Q: I want to remove really ugly ceramic tiles from my bathroom walls. I want to do this without destroying the plaster wall underneath. What‘s the best way to take them off? Is this going to be a big job? Thanks in advance!!
- Plaster indicates an older house. My guess is that the tile also is raised about a half inch above the surface of the wall and there is a nice bull nose tile that curves into the wall. If I'm correct thus far then there is no plaster under the majority of the tile. Back in the day, the plasters would attach lathe down to just below where the top of the tile would be then plaster only that. Then the tile setters would attach a heavy steel mesh the rest of the way down and strike mortar over top to create a proper backing for the tile. When you go to remove the tile it will come off with great difficulty and in large chunks because of the steel mesh, which by the way is nailed to the studs. By the way, the tile you have can be painted or new tile can be installed over it.

- with backsplashes, you cannot charge a sq ft price. They are time consuming and usually have lots of detail. 100 sf seems like a lot for a backsplash. Generally, they are in the 20-40 sf range. I am in eastern USA. I have a flat minimum of $ 450. But as the detail increases, so should the price because it will take you much longer.
- Q: We want to put the same sticky tile over the existing tile just stagger them. Will that be unstable or should we remove the old ones...which seems like work lol
- As long as the existing tile is not cracked, has missing chips, free from grease and dirt and has been vacuumed you won't have a problem putting new tile over it. Also you want to make sure the existing tile is not loose in spots. Yeah, a few new tiles might lose their grip and come up.....in about forty years. We did the same in 1974. I am now in the process of a remodel and a few of them came loose. Must have been a bad batch of tiles! Lol. You'll be fine.
- Q: The bathroom tile in my recently purchased house isn‘t finished. The previous owner used floor tile to surround the tub; he/she left many pieces of tile unfinished, but luckily left us a stack of the tiles so we could finish it off. However, we don‘t have an unlimited supply of these tiles, so we‘d like to get it right with as few tries as possible!I‘m wondering: -I need to fit the tub faucet and knobs within two 12 square tiles. What‘s the best way to measure the placement of the fixtures? Is it possible to make some sort of template that I could transfer to the tiles? -Can I make the cuts for the fixtures using a hacksaw-type tile saw blade, or should I buy a tile drill bit? (I realize it rather depends on where the fixtures fall within the tile-- but if I don‘t need to buy both, I won‘t waste my money. )Thanks!
- If you are trying to use floor tile on the walls, I would go to a tile store and have them make the cuts you need (use a grease pencil to mark the tiles) the two methods described in the first two answers can help you. but if you have ever tried to cut floor tile with one of those hacksaw tile blades you would know that it is VERY DIFFICULT, wall tile cuts no problem but floor tile is much tougher. also if you know where they were purchased they may cut them for you for free.
