FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: does any one know where to find any harvest gold bathroom tiles?? it was a color that was big in the 70‘s but it is almost impossible to find it now in stores..does anyone know of any stores or webites that sell them please let me know i need them for replacements
At one time there were a few reclamation stores that bought and sold old discontinued tile lots , but they didn t do well..You may now have to use a complementing color or just a white to replace .. If you have any tile at all I can help you tell what type and whos tile it was to get replacements to fit, since there are a couple of different sizes in the 4x4 tile ( which is what I assume you have to replace). Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there.. GL
Q: How is the acceptance of tiles after construction?
Acceptance of several main parts: first within two meters of the error shall not be greater than 2mm, the joints should be neat, uniform size, no hollowing, not loose, with two meters long ruler or by the foot of acceptance. Second, you can use a small hammer in the ground or the walls of all the light tapping, no empty drums. Finally, pay attention to the drainage requirements of the floor tile slope should meet the drainage requirements, and ground leakage should be tightly integrated.
Q: i have just bought a house and my ceiling tiles needs cleaning. i would like to know if anyone out there knows what i can use to clean them. the ceiling tiles has dust but also has mildew on some of them. i don‘t want to replace them, i just want to clean them for now. thank you everyone.
Sarri is right, it depends on what they are made of. I had the ones that pop into a frame, they are plastic sheeting with some insulation. I took them down, I washed them with soap and water, and put them back dry. And it depends on what it is on them. If it is cig smoke, you either need dishwashing soap made for greasy dishes, or a strong cleaning solution. I used 409 on my walls. I used a swifter with pads soaked in 409 on my painted bathroom ceiling. It took a lot of scrubbing. Buy one of those soft bristle brooms meant for corners amd ceilings, those work well on the dust. The tiles in this house are porous, they seem to be made from some sort of stiff fiberboard. These I wiped off with a damp rag, bought some paint primer and gave them a nice coat, then came back with ceiling paint. They look great. And if they are badly stained, and need to be sealed, there are paints for that.
Q: Have you used the marble tiles, the quality, the price?
5. Try the water. Consumers can pour some water on the back of the tiles, pay attention to observe the speed of water absorption of tiles. After a few minutes, look at the positive water left the mark is obvious. After the water is spread, the density of the tiles is so long, and the water is not obvious. 6. Warping. Take two brick back to the back and face to face to see whether it can be in close contact with the phenomenon of excessive gap can determine whether there is warping. 7. infiltration. Find ink painted on the surface after 1 hour after scrub to see if there are traces, no trace is a good brick, there is a strong choice of infiltration.
Q: i put up glass tile on my kitchen backsplash. i grouted today. i am unable to remove the grout haze this evening however. it is causing the tile to look terrible. any tips? i don‘t want to scratch it.
I swear by a product reported as Goo long gone. It has a tendency to do away with even the main sticky messes. i might think of the haze is a skinny layer of dried glue. you additionally can try organic vinegar and newspaper. That works properly on glass to scrub it.
Q: I am putting in a wood stove and want to make a mural behind it - should I tile the board and then put it up, or tile it on the wall. I am using wall spacers and cement board. I want to make a mural of a tree - the wall is 8‘ by 3‘ - should I cover the whole wall or just the part behind the wood stove? do I need special grout?thanks for your answers
You have to install the board directly to wall studs using threaded fasteners, (screws)... Distance from wall to double wall flue pipe can be as little as 1 according to CABO 1 2 Family dwelling codes. i.e. 1 from studs... As far as grout goes, nothing special is made that I know of for such situations. Where we have tile above fireplace, the tile contractor uses the same adhesive and grout as goes in the bathroom floor... I would reccomend if possible that the distance between single wall flue pipe and the wall be at least 6 and the best might be one foot... Don't forget there is slight radient heat in single wall if the stove gets hot enough to glow, otherwise it is conduction heat which can only be transfered by contact with objects...
Q: Does the tiles have radiation?
There is, but rarely, in the human can withstand the safety of the range.
Q: Do I meet the edge of tiles with the edge of the actual OPENING/HOLE of an electrical outlet or the edge of the electrical outlet PLATE COVER?
Your cover plate needs to cover the edge of the tiles. The electrical box (according to the NEC) must be completely in the field of tiles, or completely out of the tiles. You, according to code, can not split the box between tile and untiled surfaces. Back butter your tiles(apply mastic directly to the back). Put on the first row, plumb and level. Let them dry overnight. Come back and finish your tiling with a straight first row and your chalk line is a non-issue.
Q: and if so, can I just put the tile on top of the sanded laminate counter top?
You can, but it is not recommended. Your tile cuts would need to be almost perfect in order to not look bad. Then you need to silicone caulk around the sink to prevent water damage to the original counter top.
Q: Can I apply ceramic tile to my bedroom that is on the 2nd floor? My parents are saying I can‘t because the tile will weigh the floor down over timeIs there any danger in putting tile on a 2nd floor?
Weight is not an issue. Homes are designed to carry 40 or more pounds per square foot. Tile is not much heavier that other flooring surfaces such as carpet or hardwood so will not tax the structure at all. The current sub floor is probably not stiff enough for tile so adding an underlayment is probably a good idea. Whether this is a good idea is another matter altogether. Tile is a decidedly unfriendly surface for a bedroom. It is hard and cold. Drop something like a glass on it and you have a mess and nothing is colder to the foot except granite. I would not tile my bedroom and having it tiled is likely to make selling the house more difficult.
