FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: I have ten 4x4 ceramic tile that I cannot find new. What is an easy way to clean the backs off so I can re-use them?
- There are two different ways i know if to set ceramic tile, one is essentially to use a grout, the second is to use a glue. I suspect the hardened glue would present more of a problem than the grout. Someone has already mentioned a chisel, which is worth a try but you have to be gentle and have the front of the tile clamped on a surface such as a newspaper to protect the face of the tile from abrasion. The second might be the use of a high speed rotary tool. Since I owned one of those I have found innumerable uses for it. Usually you can get a bag of bits that includes a small sanding drum with sanding sleeves that go on the drum. This is also worth a try and would not risk breaking the tile. Avoid sanding to the point where the tile gets real hot though to avoid breaking it with thermal stresses. If it is a glue on the back you could still try the chisel or the rotary tool, but if that didn't work you could try a few high end solvents like acetone or xylene to see if that would soften the hardened glue. Perhaps even soaking them in oil for a week or so would soften the glue. good luck
- Q: On those tiles, can you skate on them with ice skates. I was thinking about getting them but I wasn‘t sure. Last but not least, is there a different kind of tiles that are cheaper. Thanks!
- I think I understand your question, the tiles you can't skate on unless you have roller hockey skates, it's called sport court. I play roller hockey and ice and the tiles for roller SUCK! If I were you I'd just go fin a certain kind of paint I can't recall the name of the brand, but paint the garrage floor with it and you can skate in there and stick handle if you have enough room. Hope this helps
- Q: How much does it cost for a professional removal of asbestos tile in a 19x25 room? and where can i find a contractor in Gainesville, FL? and is it safe to put tile over asbestos tiles?
- There are two ways to handle the situation, the right way or the cheapest way. What is actually required is for you to remove the tiles and dispose of them in a legal way. If you do choose to cover up the tiles with new tile, you will probably not have a problem, but if the home inspector finds you have the tiles underneath, you will have to disclose this to the buyer who may want money back from the sale to remove the tiles which they will never do since they are already covered. If you are going to remove the tiles, get a reputable asbestos abatement contractor who is going to do the job right and not put your health in jeopardy. This will cost you but then you will not have anything to worry about once it is gone.
- Q: Do you have to rough up the old flooring ?
- You certainly do need to rough it up, you may also need to seal or prime it - I have seen new tiling 'creeping' over old, when the glue hasn't really been suitable. The best thing is to get recommendations from the tile manufacturer for the right adhesive for this situation (probably a solvent based one).
- Q: I have to remove the old tiles and install new ones. Please can someone who does this for a living guide me in the right direction?
- Any okorder /... The wall tile install process is to involved to answer here. Get a pro to do it. Builder 30 years.
- Q: I have a few ceramic tiles on my kitchen backs plash that do not match my new kitchen color. Can I paint them? If so, how? Thank you.
- Hi all, your question is quite intrusting in my opinion yes you can paint the ceramic tile but before painting on it first see the tile that the tile is not wet or if you want more information I search a web on net I think it will help you this web tell all about different types of tile, marbles and ceramic so if you were interested visit the website which is given below.
- Q: More specifically, do you lay the tile right against the floorboard with no groat visible? Or would you put a spacer in between the floorboard and the tile so that it you have grout along the edge?
- That is what base boards and shoe molding are for. To cover the gap in the flooring material at the wall.
- Q: Toilet tile size
- Tiles are generally used 300 * 300 The wall to see your bathroom area and your personal preferences to set Wall tile general specifications are 200 * 300,250 * 330,300 * 450,300 * 600 ???? - Q: Hello,Trying to decide on tile for living area. What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain tiles? What price is reasonable for installation of the tile?
- I okorder / . I got my floor tiles from them and they are very nice.
- Q: Hi, I`m planning a bathroom remodel soon, and I want to use the same floor tiles as before - they are beautiful! But I just can`t find them anywhere (we bought this house recently and the previous owner did the remodel, and we can`t get hold of him any more). If anyone recognizes them, I`d be really grateful if you could point me in the direction of where to find them. Thank you SO much!Further info: the tiles are a fraction under 4 square and are a kind of gray-based quartz or granite (not sure of the difference, sorry!) with flecks of aquamarine and blue that give it an overall pale blue hue. They sit between plain white tiles with the corners shaped to accept the smaller blue squares.I`ve looked in Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon and online but so far no luck :( !
- You will have to contact a company and request a catalog of their tiles that they manufacture. After a run of tiles are made the next run will not be the exact same to match. It's very possible that no manufacturing tile company is still making the tile. With the wear and glaze that the tile has it would be impossible to get a match. I suggest that you shop for tiles that will enhance and blend with what you have and you may even use hard wood and tile aquamarine color that will pull the color hue from your present tile. The hardwood and tiles are beautiful. Hope this helps. Interior Decorator. Jo Ann
