FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: I have recently glued mosaic (mirrior finish) tiles onto a wall of mine, however I have noticed a few tiles, have almost sorta withered away at the back, it also almost looks as if the mirror backing scraped away, now giving more of a clear look. I would now want to remove some of the tiles out, Would it be advisable to use a chisel and hammer, to chip away the tile, or is there anything I can use to repair the tile.Much Appreciated

Q: Our kitchen has vinyl tile squares from the 70‘s for the floor. Underneath that is terrazzo (sp?) and nothing else. They are proving to be a massive pain in the butt to remove so I was wondering if we even really need to. They are very thin and very stuck. Can we just skip tearing them out and go ahead with the new ceramic tile install?
Lowe's will sell you a scraper on a long handle (replaceable blades on the good one) with a 10 inch or so width. Heat with a torch, then scrape up. Worth doing it right, if worth doing at all. If you put tile over laminate, you'll be really mad at yourself when you have to remove tnd throw away all that money and work a year or so from now.
Q: my boss wants to remove floor tiles and stain the cement floor underneath the tile, what is a easy way to remove the old tile

Q: Imloking to buyy subway tile for my bathroom demo. any ideas where I can get it for a discount/
www.okorder . Go there, go to your city, do a search of subway tile or go to the materials, household, or furniture sections. We are using craigslist to redo our bathroom!! Have fun!
Q: How to completely remove the double-sided adhesive on the tile?
First of all, we can use the removal of nail polish to clean the water to see, but because the light to the water is likely to make the original color of the wall also followed off, so it is recommended in the obvious small places try more insurance. Or, we can take a piece of vinegar covered with dry cloth, to cover the entire double-sided adhesive traces of the place, until the double-sided adhesive sticky stains completely wet, you can use the ruler easily removed.
Q: i‘m planning to change the tiles in my tub area. whats the right way of doing this? should i change the drywall to cement backerboard? and how do i fix the joint between the new cement backerboard and the existing wall and ceiling which is textured? pls help!
hire a professional!! this is no easy job. yes change to backerboard. when you cut the old out make sure to cut it square. tape it ,and then use joint compound just like drywall. textured ceiling....use the tile to your advantage. cut the texture out at the point where you are going to meet and move the tile to cover it all the way around.
Q: I need to take a tile that is on the wall under my bathroom sink cabinet to use it to replace some visible tiles. I know it‘s possible to remove the old damaged tiles, but obviously I don‘t want to damage the ones that I‘m going to use to replace the bad ones.
it can be done by using a thin chisel or even an wallpaper scraper pushed behind each tile to break the adhesive seal. much will depend on the amount of adhesion and if the wall plaster is sound etc or the tiles are strong or thin weak and brittle. only by trail and error will you find out but there normally i find unless the tile is particularly well stuck to a wall it will in fact pry of easily and in fact you have to be ready to 'catch' it before it falls and shatters. watch out for broken tiles as the edges are extremely sharp .
Q: how can i tile over linolium flooring without pulling it up?
Just tile over the old floor. Make sure the floor is clean and any trace of grease or oil is removed so you get the new tile to stick. My cousin put vinyl tile over a linoleum floor and it worked great. Don't tear it up or you will have a big mess.
Q: We recently had new porcelain tile installed on our guest bath floor, and we‘d like to clean it regularly without harming the tiles and grout. The tile installer had no recommendations about this process, nor did the tile company where we made the purchase. Researching this info is very confusing. Some sites recommend using only a wet mop, while others claim that vinegar diluted in water is appropriate; others advise using some type of manufactured cleaning product. We know that regular sweeping is necessary, but we‘re unsure which products to use to protect our new floor. If you suggest a wet mop, please advise which is best: Shark, Eureka, Bissell, etc. Thanks for any detailed advice you can provide.
Hello, I agreed to what Bob said. One thing I want to add that is to hire professionals. I am doing so and got safe results.
Q: I had asked the guy I am seeing to go somewhere with me tonight and he said he had to prep the floor before laying the tile? He has been working on a flooring job, but what do you do to prep a floor? Is this the same whether with tiles or hardwood?
Floor preparation in order; removing old flooring, removing foreign objects, cleaning, leveling and installing required under layment.
