FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

         4. Why choose our Floor Tile?

1).  Experienced service because we have an experienced team and we could send our experienced engineer for giving                    useful instruction on your jobsite.

5. What exhibition we joined?

1). Canton Fair (every year)

2). Dubai Big 5

6. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles? Which one more slippery, more aesthetically pleasing           and easy to clean?

Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface.

Q: For my Science fair project i am testing different types of toothpastes and I was planning on soaking tiles in different liquids to satin them, but I don‘t know which tile would work? Any Ideas?
Why soak them? All normal tiles have a glazing on them and the glaze finish can be different to test the different stuff you want to test on them. You have bright glaze , matte glaze satin glaze. Some stone tiles with no glaze on them at all that might stain . Some stones you can seal w/a sealer to see how that works. Go to your local mom and pop type flooring store and tell them this is a school project and ask if they have any spare tile to give you. We helped many school projects over the years . Any questions you can e mail me thru my avatar. GL
Q: Just started tiling my tub surround and I have two very similar layouts graphed up. The actual colors of the tile and listello will be different than the ones shown in the pictures, so don‘t look at the computerized colors since they aren‘t accurate. The layout however, is pretty darn close to what I am planning on doing.
I like the first pic of the tiling.
Q: We have ceramic tile on the wall in the bathroom with a few tiles of color. Hate to change whole bathroom.
With no offense to you or others who answer, the answer truly is NO, not to any satisfactory level! After installing thousands of sq. ft. of tile, and applying thousands of gallons of paint, AND UNDERSTANDING the properties of fired, glazed tile, I share this. It's essentially GLASS. Without much detail regarding color I'm going to assume you're talking about individual tiles interspersed among a base color tile. Also without knowing the substrate, there is an option. If you can match the base color tiles, and live with them, you can use a diagonal grinder to remove the surrounding grout, around the offensive color tiles, chip them out carefully, and after cleaning the substrate, install new. Certainly that can be applied to NOT matching tile pieces as well. Allow the mastik proper drying time, re-grout, and hopefully be OK with it. If that seems too easy, or difficult, you should consider other PATTERN options, since it's possible you'll damage base color tiles, OR, again, see if that base color is still available. For that you may have to go to a manufacturer, which may be difficult since many are in Europe and/or Mexico. Steven Wolf
Q: I have three ceramic tiles that need a special curved cut. I‘m just looking for some place where I can take the tiles in and they cut them for me onsite and I walk out with my cut tiles. Home Depot doesn‘t offer this service. Who does? I live in Atlanta.
Two reasons why our store may not cut the tile for you. First, is the location that you're trying to get the tile cut, the same place where you purchased it? If not, then if there is a miscut, there would be no way to replace that tile. Secondly you mention that you want a curved cut, many wet saw setups are for straight cuts, which the retail establishment that I work at has. They usually charge only for straight cuts. Curved cuts are labor intensive and call for many small straight cuts. My recommendation, invest in a rotozip, or dremel and make the cut on your own.
Q: I need to remove several tiles for repair and replace the tiles with as little damage as possible
First thing you need to do is take out the surrounding grout. Once that is removed you can chip out a corner and work inward w/o any pressure against the closer tiles. This is why you take out the grout, it causes pressure against the next tile and it will cause chipping when you use a hammer and chisel . Once you have a corner chipped off , use a small chisel or a junk screw driver to get in between the mortar and the tile. Once the tile is out the glue or thin set can be scraped out down to the substrate . Clean and sweep well before regluing the new tile. Any other questions you can e mail me thru my avatar .. I ve had to do to many of these things over the years repairing other peoples tile.. GL
Q: We have an installer, whom seems to be doing it wrong. I can‘t find any website that explains how to install tile the way he is doing it. Can you tell me if this sounds correct?First he puts mortar on the bare cement floor, then put down versa-bond or a bonding agent.. and then he puts more mortar on the tile and then lays it down.. Does this sound right to you? Thanks
it sounds like to me he's using a method called mud setting the tile, used on floors that concrete is low in spots, and sounds to me he knows what he is doing,
Q: Hello! I currently have a 3 season sunroom addition on the back of my home that has been stripped down to the wood. I recently saw a 4 season sunroom that had tile down and needless to say, I fell in love with it! I am thinking about putting tile down in there but am worried about the weather...I live in Minnesota where it gets very cold...and that room is not heated in the winter. Would I have problems with the tile cracking? Or does anyone know of an alternative way to get a tile-looking floor without having to worry the temperature changes??
Tile can be laid outside, so temperature is not the issue. The type of tile you use will determine if it stays down or not. I would look into a porcelain tile which is double fired and extremely hard, or a frost-proof tile which is used around swimming pools.
Q: is it correct if i divide 198 by 2.25= 88 tiles? help ty

Q: I purchaced this tile in 2003 fromThe Tile Shop. I had an incident occure which led me to look for 5 more tiles. I was told by The Tile Shop that they were discontinued. I‘ve called everywhere( in Kansas and Missouri). So far I haven‘t had any luck. where can I find the ceramic tile color Yosemite Sand 13 inch square. I need atleast 5 of them. Thank You..
you okorder . they have alot of hard to find tiles.
Q: How to remove paint from wall tile in our 1929 home? Floor tile is original and in excellent shape. Help?!?
Its probably real enamel and if so,will be bonded very tight.Paint remover, steel wool, and a scraper might be your only help, but depends on the tile as to if this will scratch it.They make rotary paint removers that attach to a drill and little wires slap the paint off.I think they make a plastic version of these for easily damaged surfaces. There are hot air paint remover guns that might help also.Might be easier to repaint the tile to a blank color that matches your current color scheme, then try your hand at hand painting flowers on some of them as an accent.Be creative.Hope this helps..
