Q: i just got my car aligment fix and they told me to to a rotate tires every 7000 miles.do they mean to switch your rear tire for front?and why? i dont get the meaning of this?and if i dont will anything happend to my car?: Don't wait until 7,000 miles but rather do it at 5,000 miles. You will want the front tires to go to the back and the back tires to go to the front. Take the right front tire and put it on the ground next to the left rear axle. Take your left back tire and place it on the ground where you're right front tire was. Take your left front tire and put it on the ground to place onto the right back. Take your right back tire and put it on the ground for the left front tire.
