- Q: I need to be familiar with the type and quotation of the car tires due to the working relationship, but it is not complete to understand the relevant symbols, such as being new. MAX's factory-produced radial tires. Oblique tires. Different details of steel tires. Especially LT. PR V. MA. The code symbol before and after the distinction will be mixed around the place.
- LT light truck PR tires level V speed of 240 km MA this is not clear, it seems not what standard code
- Q: i have a rear wheel drive car and there is a nail in the back right tire. i took it 2 big o tires 2 have it patched but they said they couldnt patch it and i would need a new tire. my tires are almost 1 year old and i am going 2 the sane place that i originally bought my tires from. but should i have them balance my tires or what do i need 2 do 2 make sure the tires are all even??
- They should be able to patch the tire as long as the nail is not on or near the edge or sidewall of the tire. If you do need to get a new tire then you should not need to have the other 3 balanced as long as you have had this done recently. If you have some sort of vibration then I would have them balance all the tires.
- Q: What is the effect of the tires on the car tires?
- Each tire brand design will be different. The same brand of tires, different patterns represent different product positioning. Different specifications to choose the pattern is not the same. - Q: tire on snowblower flat. can not seem to make edge of tire seal around rim to inflate
- The last time I had this problem, I used a piece of rope around the center of the tire. By pulling the rope tight, it forces the tire to bead to the rim. You may also want to clean the bead first with a light soapy water mixture. Hope this helps
- Q: Tire open open the tires, and will not change the tire how to do? What is the best way? What is the effect of the tires on the tires?
- Because the lack of air pressure, will lead to excessive damage to the tire carcass, tire carcass excessive buckling will produce high heat, the inner airtight layer of rubber will be burned into dark spots, and rubber and carcass cord fabric stripping, more serious, The rubber will be high heat burning, resulting in melting, sustained high heat so that the internal structure of the tire was seriously damaged. If the tire continues to drive in the case of reduced strength will eventually lead to tire damage, more serious will lead to puncture, bringing security risks.
- Q: I just recently bought some staggered Rota D2‘s for my 1990 240sx. But i am completely clueless on what tire goes on them! The tires sizes are17x7.517x8.5Please help!!
- If your 240 originally was fitted with P195/60R15 86H tires then the ideal replacement size would be 205/45R17 XL 88W inflated to 34 psi front and rear. The only caveat would be that the recommened rim widths for this tire size are 6.5 to 7.5 inches. Your rears are a bit wide. If your 240 originally was fitted with P205/60R15 90H tires then the ideal tire size is 215/45R17 87W inflated to 30 psi front and rear. You could also use these as an alternative to the above tire on the rear as these can be safely mounted on wheels up to 8.0 inches - a good tire mounter can squeeze these on 8.5's. It will also give you a bit of that staggered look that is all the rage these days.
- Q: How to distinguish the quality of car tires
- Goodyear Michelin Henderson can also be
- Q: Is there any connection with gas and tires ? It does not make sense I hear that slogan in a commercial
- I don't know about Tire King tires specifically but the same physics applies to all tires/ vehicles. Tires and how you take care of them can have an effect on fuel mileage. First off the compound the tire is made of will play a part as stickier (performance) tires will have more rolling resistance as they are formulated to be sticky and grip the road surface better which causes more drag. An economy tire which is usually made of a harder rubber compound does not give you the grip and performance of a sporty tire but because of this factor the tire will have less rolling resistance than a sticky tire, less drag and will give you better mileage. Tread pattern also plays a part in drag. One of the most neglected things on most cars which is also one of the best ways to improve your gas mileage is to maintain your tires and alignment. Keep your tires at the proper inflation level, which you can usually find on a sticker in your vehicles door jamb or your owners manual. Check your pressure once a month minimum and visually check your tires every time you get gas. Also keep up on your tire rotations and alignments. Rotations will help to keep the wear patterns on the tires more or less equal. The alignment is super important, it aligns the wheels in relation to the vehicle and each other. If your wheels are not in proper alignment you can get abnormal tire wear and excessive drag which will not only ruin your tires but can reduce your fuel mileage because of excessive drag along the way. Hope that helps
- Q: i heard there are self seal able bicycle tires not the inner tube but the tire it self. place links down below thanks Brian
- The first answered nailed it! So-called self sealing tires and/or tubes simply don't work. I've seen those slime methods fail both in bicycle auto tires too. Thank God, the tires that came on my bike have an inner liner that deter flats tremendously. Only one so far in slightly over 2 years and 1,500 miles.
- Q: I‘m having some problems with the tires on my truck. The driver side tire has a little bump or rise on the side of the tire. If you run your finger across the side you can feel it. Also the passenger side tier has a little recess. You can also feel it when you run your finger on the side. I have low tire pressure right now, but I‘ve noticed these things long before then. The last thing I want is for my tires to burst on the road. Anyone else think this is normal?
- Replace the tire with the little bump pronto. The steel belts inside the rubber are coming apart and subsequently weakened the tire's structural integrity. It's not a question of if, but when the tire will blow. It happened to a friend of mine when I pointed out this problem on his tire, but he let it go, and a month later, sure enough, it went. You might as well also replace the other tire with the recess. Sounds like at one point in time, someone slammed on the brakes really hard and made the tires squeal, but made a flat spot in the tread.
