Q: How is commercial wiring differ from residental wiring in design, operation and etc?
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/sbUNO electric tape is easier for the horse to see especially if you use a thick one so its safer but after time its hard to see breaks in the little wires that run through it so electric may not pass through as good or even short out. so wire is better in this respect if it breaks you can see it! i use tape for bottom and top, with wire running with the top tape to make sure the electric is getting round the field.
Q: My renter took apart a timer that was hooked to a ceiling fan because the timer was clicking loudly. Now, I just want to simply install a normal on/off switch in it's place. There are two sets of wires coming into the box. One set has a red, white, and black wire coming from it. The other set has just a white and black wire coming into the box. I'm sure this is relatively simple for someone who has wiring expertise. How do I wire a normal light switch to these wires?!?!
you ought to positioned the switching in earlier the low voltage transformer. If the light fixtures are all under pressure jointly, there's no way you have gotten the skill to preform this activity. you will ought to positioned the two light fixtures on one transformer and have the switched with or via the feed wires to the transformer. The final mild will must be via itself transformer and switched additionally with the a hundred and twenty volt feed. I woul hire an electrician a stable one, A union guy on the part or somthing. no longer your girlfrinds uncle chuck..
Q: Does anybody know of a How to Guide... or a tutorial or something to help me wire a Telecaster for a project? I'm pretty new at this and I want to make sense of the wiring diagrams I've found and make sure I don't screw anything up, thank you.
And it is hundreds of similar resources, which may indicate you haven't really used the search engines. Just enter search terms like: telecaster wiring, guitar wiring, guitar schematics, guitar wiring diagrams and so on.
Q: i bought a programmable thermostat, and the wiring i see doesn't make any sense. it's for central air, heating and cooling. there are no tags or labels on the wires, and it was probably installed in the seventies.there are four wires coming out of the wall, and they're screwed into four of six slots:Y = blue wireG = red wireW = green wireR = white wireB = emptyO = emptythe new thermostat has the following slots: G, Rc, Rh, Y/O, W/B, Y1. how should the old labels correspond to the new ones?
First of all from what you are saying on how the old thermostat is wired, your furnace is wired up wrong...On the old thermostat the red wire should go to R... The white wire should go to W... The green wire should go to G... And the blue wire should go to Y... On the new thermostat the red wire should go to Rc and a jumper wire from Rc to Rh... The white wire goes to W/B... The green wire goes to G... and the blue wire goes to Y1... But if your sure that your old thermostat was wired the way you say it was then the red wire goes to G...the white wire goes to Rc with a jumper wire to Rh... the green wire goes to W/B... and the blue wire goes to Y1...
Q: When you electromagnetize a nail with wire coiled around it, then connect it to a small battery, how come it works when the wire has been been insulated,..... and what if you were to use uninsulated wire.
The insulation around the wire prevents the flow of current between wires, (shorting out the coil). It has no effect on the magnetic field created by the flow of current in the wires. If you tried uninsulated wire, you wouldn't have much of a field, as the current path would be short, direct from one end of the coil to the other with no 'turns` at all.
Q: hey im wiring up a headunit to my L300 van. The factory headunit wasnt there and im having trouble connecting which colour wires to the factory colour wires. if anyone knows which coulours go to what would be much appreciatedcheers.
Hi, okorder /
Q: Wired car radio no sound powered on then wires crossed had to run red straight to battery. Then memory and ground crossed. Now nothing. Checked fuses radio fuse is bad. Will i also need a new wiring harness? Stereo Works fine when hooked up to battery charger.
Could you rewrite your question and clear it up some. The red wire should go to the ignition on the existing harness in the dash. You were crossing all of those wires? Look at the diagram that came with the deck to know which wires go where. Typical pairs of wires (white and white w#x2F;black stripe or gray and gray w#x2F; black stripe) are for the speakers, red is for power(ignition) I think green is the signal wire and so forth. I don#x27;t know how your wires just get crossed like that? Did you splice them into the wrong ones in the dash?
Q: sence my stock head unit has no remote wire, when I hook the amp up, will it still drain the battery? I have everything connected, but the deck does not have no remote wire, and if it does I have no idea how to locate it. I am worried it will continue to run the amp when the car is off and drain the battery. Am I worried for nothing? If it will continue to drain the battery, how do I prevent this from happening?
you just gotta make sure the wire you attach the remote wire to only has power when the car is on not when its off and you'll be fine
Q: I have a 2004 mit lancer and im trying to instal 2 sets of kicker rs65.2 door speakers having trouble with the back the wires on the right are yellow and one has a red stripe the other has a green stripe and the left speaker is a solid green and blue wire how in the heck am i suppose to match those up with the black and red the right seems obvious but i dont want to mess anything up
