- Q: I found an old Karavan flatbed utility trailer and am currently converting it into a snowmobile trailer (2 place). Me and a friend riped all the wire off of the trailer and completely rewired it. No matter how we configure it, the lights aren't coordinated. If we hit the left blinker in the car, all the lights flash(like the hazards are on). Right blinker works fine. we wired it first from the diagram on the karavan site. Now once we think about it, they have us wiring the ground into the light. so we searched the web and found this layout.
- well first you didnt say what type of plug your going to use, looked at your website and everything looks good there. your next step should be to check the tow vehicle, just to be sure it is wired right
- Q: I have DirectWay and have a wireless router. I recently hardwired my computer in because I kept losing signal. The distance between my computer and the router is about 30 ft. But since I hardwired my computer in, it seems slower than when I ran the wireless adapter, i.e downloading videos and music. I was under the impression that wired was faster. What gives????
- It's possible that your wired network card drivers aren't installed properly, or maybe your computer's trying to use both...try disabling the wireless to force the software to only use the wired card.
- Q: well i've been asking for quite sometime on the correct wiring of a bathroom fan up to the same circuit as my light in the bathroom but i believe i've figured out. but i have a question now about the wire guage.the wire guage in the house is the standard solid 12 or 14 i think(house built in 50's) and the the wire that came with the bathroom fan looks a little smaller or about same size but it's braided .it should be fine to splice the two right?
- Yes. it's ok. Also. the wiring you have is probably 12 gague. Newer homes use 14 gague wiring for lighting to save some money.

- Q: thats how my after market stereo is hooked up..i just got a system and was wondering if i join the remote wire to the accessory would it be ok? even if the accessory is already joined with the illumination
- You need to first disconnect the accesory wire on the aftermarket radio from the illumination wire from the car harness if you are using hose connection to turn on the radio. You need to connect the accesory wire from the aftermarket radio to the accesory wire from the car radio harness, if you are using a wire harness then it would be the red wire and if the factory radio harness is cut then u'll need a test light to locate the accesory wire. On the aftermarket radio harness/plug locate the blue/white wire that's where u will need to connect the remote wire to, in order to turn your amp on and off. Don't connect the remote wire to the illumination wire from the car, or the radio harness.
- Q: I have a 2000 Subaru Outback, and I can get the thing working, but it does not save any of my settings. i know its my accessory wire because the radio will not turn on from any other wire.. soo help please
- There are two wires that you must hook up. One is for continuous power so that the settings are saved, the other is for power to the radio. If you had purchased your equipment from Crutchfield, you would have gotten free installation instructions and a wiring harness that would hook directly to your Subaru wiring - saving you a great deal of time and trouble.
- Q: I connected my wires in the morning and something aint righti put two wires incorrect but i dont see it... can some oneput them together for me cuz i really cant see where i did wrongmaybe some one else will find it ...
- are you connecting this to an after market deck/stereo? well if so, it would have been a MILLION times easier to not cut the wires and just get a wiring harness, no need to cut any wires or anything... all you need to do is connect the wiring harness to the car stock stereo harness then plug it into the back of the deck so put your wires back to how they were, and get a wiring harness lol, only 5-20bucks i got mine for 5 off the internet.. my brother got his for 15 from wal-mart and they have them at best buy for around 20
- Q: Can your use the power wire that they sell at home depo to do the big three upgrade or is it better to just get wire from a car audio store?
- I would recommend against it. Power wire for car audio is made up of strands where the stuff from home depot is solid. Stranded wire is easier to bend and causes less resistance when it is. Also car audio wire has a coating to protect it from the elements such as heat, where home wire does not hold up as well. Keep in mind that because one is stranded and the other is solid the gauge size is different.

- the blue and black are hot. i think the blue is so you can control the fan on a seperate switch from the light. green and bare is ground, white is neutral.
