Q: how do i make cement dry faster?: Cement is a powder . How you cure that I do not know. If is cocncrete You cannot make it dry. It is a chemical reaction.Calciun carbonate is an option . It has been banned because it eats in to the reo in the concrete. Your local concrete supplier will know. It only speeds up the intial set. You should let cocncrete gain strength naturally. If you are in a real hurry use hight strenght concrete

Q: in what ratio should i mix cement and water?: Coupla two, three, four parts to one.

Q: I used it to patch cracks and divots in old concrete driveway and it is not cement color but a dark gray. Didn't see that coming! Is there anything I can do to lighten it?: Don't let those others lead you astray. Unless you can mix the patching concrete to the exact same formula as the original mix, you will get color variation. Methinks we may have been a little overzealous with the cement in the patching batch, yes? If you have put more cement into it than the original lot, then, alas, your patches WILL be darker than the rest. Ain't Mother Nature amazing!

Cement will give you lots of problems and the rubber last forever. I have one I built over seventeen years ago. The dogs, deer etc use it and it's still as solid as if it were built yesterday. Q: if so, are there any special steps i need to do?: I would highly highly (double to really emphasize it) not recommend doing it. Either buy/find rocks or use sand a substrate to replace it.

Please help.: Did you have a crown (cap) on that tooth? dental cement is not hard to remove, id advice to go to Walmart or any store and buy dental kit, use the sharp instrument that looks like a hook to scrape of the cement. Be carefull!! if you did have a temporary or permanent crown ont that tooth you should see your dentist so they can re cement it. You can loose a tooth if its uncovered.

Q: Is it safe to clog on my basement floor thats made of concrete? I just got new clogging shoes and each time I stop, I feel a few layers of the taps peeling. Q: I have a small concrete slab (12' x 3.5') that I would like to cover with bricks. Should I use mortar or cement to affix them? We live in a cold and wet climate where summer max temp is 90F, winter min is -30F, lots of rain in spring and fall.
