WhenI'm in the process of an Instant Message, I'm immediately signed out. I've found powering it off, and then back on, fixes the problem. I miss calls and texts if I don't have the phone around me, as I don't hear the slight noise that always sounds, when these distruptions occur. I always get the messages that are missed, once I power the phone off and on.I've had the phone for at least 4 months. I've talked to 4 different 'experts' at ATT, but they're clueless. I'm very simple. I don't ask for much, but this is quite bothersome. Can you advise?
- Phone usually go with 1 year manufacturers warranty. You can have phone checked to see if its a manufacturers defect then you can request from a replacement. If you have coverage for insurance you can also order replacement but usally there is a deductible that you would need to pay so you can get a replacement. You can also have the network in you area checked. it might not be the phone but the coverage in your areabut really seems like its a phone issue rather thatn a network issue. Good luck.

- Yes you can activate your old sidekick with T-Mobile. You would need to bring your old cell phone and activate that sim card as a prepaid. I recommend bringing that sim card and your cell phone to a nearby T-Mobile store and they will activate that sim card for you on the sidekick prepaid plan. The sidekick plan will cost you a $1.00 a day which includes unlimited text, internet, email and instant messaging. However if you receive calls or make calls it will cost you 15 cents a minute. So if you add up the fees it will cost you $30 or more per month for this plan.

- No, you can only use Virgin Mobile phones on Virgin Mobile. I've tried to put other phones on it but they never let me. I hate their phones too. Maybe you should just go with a pre paid with another provider, like T-Mobile flex pay. It's pretty much pre paid, but you have to pay full retail price for the phone, but it's worth it. :) Or ATT Go Phone. I don't know how that works really since I went with the Flex Pay, but either way you'd be getting a much better phone. :)

- You can't do any of that stuff. Phones aren't like PCs where anyone who's reasonably tech savvy can install a different operating system; it takes a team of programmers months to put a different operating system onto a new phone. Also, phones have different hardware than PCs, so even if you *could* just install a different operating system onto a phone, an operating system made for a PC (like Windows 7) wouldn't work on a phone (and vice-versa).

- No, that will not work, and for several reasons: 1.) Straight Talk will not accept a Boost Mobile phone, period. 2.) Boost Mobile phones are not compatible with Straight Talk's GSM SIM cards. 3.) Boost Mobile phones with SIM card slots are either iDEN (which will not work with a GSM SIM card), or are locked from being used outside of Boost Mobile.
