- There are two types of phones sold on OKorder: Phones with a contract and phones without a contract. A phone without a contract: all you need is a T-Mobile Sim card. You can get a prepaid one or you can set up a plan. A phone with a contract: Its a lot cheaper but you will have to activate the phone through the seller, which means for you putting up a deposit. What I would do is go to a T-Mobile store and tell them that you are getting a T-Mobile free from your dad and what your options are. Don't let them talk you into signing anything right there and then. Go back home and think about your options and then make a decision.

- depends if ur looking for prepaid phones or plan phones? the cheapest virgin prepaid we carry at my store is $60. i would recomend supertab tho honestly, plus virgins plans start at 20dollars and all theyre plans include unlimited texting and all the minutes r long distance. check out their website :) sorry for phone ideas the galaxy 550 (touch screen) or the galaxy 551 (touch screen + slide keyboard) r good phones and not to expensive. or theres the.lg rumor if u wanna keep it real simple again just head to their website, u can see their full line up

- It is not necessary for kids that age. Children must be old enough to be responsible with such a device. I would say 6th grade, give it a try. However, they must be aware it never goes to school.

- T-Mobile phones are not compatable with Page Plus. Page Plus uses Verizon phones. Page Plus does not use sim card with their phones. You will need to buy a Verizon phone that works with Page Plus. Then you will have to call/contact Page Plus and have them Port your phone number with T-Mobile to Page Plus. You may want to contact Page Plus and see if they will port a phone number from T-Mobile, before you buy a phone.

- oh you definitly can get viruses on a phone but they are very rare. the ones that exist though are very bad and can charge you for texting you didnt do. but the only way to get viruses on your phone is to respond to a text that has the virus. viruses from your computer will not even affect your phone since they are designed to attack windows pcs not phones. so as long as you arent texting strange people you should be fine. its not something i would say you should worry about. however if you want to and you have virus software you can right click your phone in windows explorer and run a scan on it just to make sure.

- Hi Amuoro, and welcome to Y!A Camcorders: You've been asking about this same thing 5 times over the past month in various other Categories, but never have you said WHICH mobile phone model # you have. Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading.
