- you can use any gsm phone that is unlock so long as you are just making calls and texting. where your problem will be is with any functions that has to connect to the phones internet. t-mobile uses t-zone and it can only be accessed from a t-moble phone, so you want be able to use the internet, send or receive pic messages, multimedia messages, or download anything.

- The phone might be locked onto a certain network, so it wont accept sim cards that are on a different network. Ask the person you've brought the mobile from what network it was on, If you cant get in touch with the person you brought it from take it to your local market and try and see if there's a mobile phone stall to unlock it for you. - In my opinion, Tmobile is a great cellular service provider and I've been using them for years without problems. So I think you should be fine with them. Meanwhile, all I can say about the t-mobile phone selection is RAZR-Ville! and it's also that way for a good reason. T-mobile doesn't offer very many decent phones in my opinion aside from the reliable RAZR and Sidekicks. But, the problem with this is the fact that RAZRs are becoming all to common and the sidekick has an apalling screen resolution, camera, and portability rating (at least for me). T-mobile also has a tragically small amount of smartphones in their line up. This is because T-mobile is relying on the blackberry/crackberry to hold their smartphones sector. So unless you love blackberries, look somewhere else. Finally, the low-end phones are mainly clamshells with decent functionality for those who just want a phone. Though one exception to the low-end phones would be the samsung slide phone that they have get it if you wan t a nice looking and quite capable basic phone. Thus, unless you absolutely love the RAZR, text message to the point or needing a sidekick, need a blackberry(I found the phone boring), or want a basic phone which you can mostly get elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend getting a phone from t-mobile directly. Which brings me to a simple conclusion, buy an unlocked GSM phone that works with where you live and T-mobile from OKorder or something and stick your sim card in it. Well hope that helps.

- What mobile company is this? FIrst and foremost, you needed to have read your contract carefully before you signed. In fine print, it would have stated some conditions or requirements for the promotion. If you look over your contract and still don't find it in the terms and conditions, go back to the phone company store and tell them about thier promotional ad. They refuse to budge, call customer service and be firm. There has to be some catch that you missed because flat out lying is false advertisment, something that can land them into a big lawsuit. Check carefully your contract papers before calling them up.

- it wouldnt be possible since sprint runs on a cdma network and t-mobile on a gsm. in other words, sprint don't use sim cards. unless you have a world phone but even at that it won't be guarenteed to work 100%. you would need to either use it with t-mobile or get it unlock so you could also use it with att.
