- Q: What makes a particular light wave (red) shorter than other light waves (e.g violet)?
- Whether or not the light being emitted is moving towards (violet) or away (red) can affect this. The amount of energy being put into the light also affects this.

- Not light brown.. But not black. I'd use a dark brown, I think light brown would be for blondes with very light hair. The goal is to darken your eyelashes, so use something dark. I have a dark brown Covergirl mascara, and it comes in a yellow container. I don't really use it though, only underneath black mascara, because I have dark hair.

- The primary colors for light are red, blue, and green. The primary colors for pigment are yellow, blue, and red. When we see light we are seeing the emission of photons. Pigments can either absorb or reflect these photons, and the color you see when you look at pigment is the average of the wavelength of reflected light. This is why adding all of the colors of light gives you white, and mixing pigment colors together gives you a murky brown/black. (You are subtracting light when you mix pigments, as each new color you add will absorb different wavelengths of photons).
- Q: I bought studio light strobes system which came with a modeling light. What is the purpose of this modeling light? Is it to view the subject during scenario setup?
- One important thing to note is that the modeling lights are not always an accurate representation of the flash but are really just approximations (ratios, etc) so you need to meter each light individually to figure out the ratios. Also, you should also pay attention to where the light falloff is outside the subject. People often forget about light spill reflecting back onto the subject or lighting the background in unexpected ways.
- Q: I've seen online some stores that sells Moroccan lamps and lanterns, chandeliers but they all look cheap and the designs are not that impressing however i'm looking for a source for high-end Moroccan light fixtures and Moorish lighting like lanterns, sconces, chandeliers, hanging pendants, lamps with unique designs and handmade from quality materilas like solid brass not from thin or cheap metal that rust.any suggestions?

- Q: Lets just say there was the room and it had mirrors on every wall and there were NO parts not covered by a mirror. And lets also say there was light in that room. Will the light just keep reflecting off the mirrors and never stop? And there are NO parts the light can soak into.
