- Q: can you use, or is a modeling light another term for key light.can i buy a modeling light, use it to correctly light my model, and then when i take the picture, the modeling light will flash?
- ummm, yes... sort of.. When you buy a flash unit with a light so you can see what your doing it has been called a modeling light.. the flash tube on my flash heads go around the socket that holds the constant light so the light and the flash have the same look on the image. I use a power pack that powers up to 4 flash heads and use a radio remote to trigger it with most often.
- Q: What is the effect of light on pupil size? If both eyes are in bright light, what happens? If both eyes are in dim light, what happens?
- When your eyes are in bright light, your pupils become smaller. When you go into dimmer light, you pupils become larger. I think its probably because you need larger pupils when there isn't sufficient light for seeing. If you have a cat, its very easy to see it's pupils get larger and smaller.
- Q: how you turn off,the service light(yellow light)
- First, do the service (oil change, etc.) then with ignition off, push and hold the odometer reset button. Turn on the ignition (don't crank the engine over) and continue to hold the button. The reason for the light is to provide a continuous light source so the photographer can see if there are any unwanted reflections in eye glasses or window glass. I would guess there is some way to mount the modeling light to the strobe head. You need to place the modeling light in a manner that mimics the direction of light the strobe will create.
