- Q: what is the difference?
- As a colorist, general rule would be the 6AA has a stronger concentration of ash (the double A's) Ash always appears darker. The 6 is the level of darkness which are the same. With the AA containing more ash that would appear darker.
- Q: I bought a nail polish unknowing that i needed a UV or LED light. Will a fluorescent light do the same thing? Or a black light?
- Most brands of nail polish that require UV needs the light to be at a wavelength of 365nm. Ordinary fluorescent lights don't work. An ordinary cheap black light should, as long as it's bright enough. The kind you need is known in the lighting industry as blacklight blue. Nail curing systems usually have four 9-watt tubes for a total of 36 watts. Because the bulbs are compact, the light is concentrated where it's needed. For this reason, you may have a hard time getting enough UV light concentrated on your nails. If you look online, you'll see that UV nail-curing systems are not that expensive (about $30). As for LEDs, they have them at 365nm, but they are expensive, starting at about $10 for one LED. Direct sunlight would probably do it.

- Well color of a light depends on its frequency.Different frequencies have different colors.A white light when passed thro a filter say red,the color is red coz it shuts all the frequencies which are other than red and allows the frequency corresponding to red

In addition, since they contain no glass components, they are not vulnerable to vibration or breakage like conventional bulbs. - Q: what color would i get if i pass light from a light bulb through a red filter and then through a green filter?
- A filter doesnt actually filter out a specific color but filters out all other colors so if you pass it thru a green filter last you actually would have a green light.
- Q: ONly one light is turned on
- The lights indicate which player you are. If you're player one, the light on the far left will be lit. If you're player two, the light second from the left will be lit and so on and so forth. Also, when you start the controller, the lights will light up a rough percentage of your battery life.
