FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: I mainly need to transfer word and powerpoint files for college work The college issued laptops have a usual card reader but for printing the college only allows you to print via the computer that they have in the lab.I am getting a second hand Chinese memory card reader for Rs.1000 and I already have a Sony camera which uses MemoryStick so I wont have to pay for the card but If I buy a Pen Drive it would cost me Rs.2500 Is it really worth the price??
- It depends on size of your card, and assuming Pen drive is what we call flash drive I'd go with the pen drive. You can work directly on the flash when on the college computers or your computer at home - just save to the correct drive letter and keep it easy by not having to transfer back and forth with copy and paste.
- Q: I have a set of contact smart card reader and secure smart card which was used for windows 2000.wen i tried for window xp,it is not detecting the reader.can u suggest wat all changes do i need to make to interface with window xp.any reference to msgina.dll? Pl dont suggest to buy a new set of smart card reader coz it is my project to make ithe old one work in window xp.
- I am not sure what do you mean by a contact card reader. But basically if you have a card reader that is not being recognized by Windows XP first I would try go to the website of the manufacturer of that card reader. Look for Support, and see if they have the driver for Windows XP there, download it, install it, reboot, and see if it works for you. Sounds to me like all you need is the right driver(s) for Windows XP and it should work fine. And no, I have no idea what is msgina.dll if you're getting a message that pops up saying something about that file, maybe that's what it is, something wrong with the driver for your card reader. - Go download the latest driver(s) for Windows XP at the manufacturer's website. I hope this helped.
- Q: I have a Sony DSC-S700 Camera. Usually My boyfriend uploads the pictures, but hes at work right now and i ahevpictureds i'd like to upload. He alwas usues the Card Reader and puts the Memory stick in it. Okay, so i know where the card reader is, and how to get the memory stick out and all that, but how do i get the pics to upload? I'd also like to know if it is possible to put previously uploaded pictures back on the memory stick so i am able to print them, and if so how do i do so? Please help.
- Once the memory card is in the reader, you should be able to go to My Computer or Windows Explorer (or equivelent file manager) and see the memory card as a drive, like a hard drive. Find the files in there and just copy and paste them.
- Q: Poor access to the card reader, how to do?
- 1, you can use the rubber chuck under the metal;
- Q: i rebooted my computer and reinstalled all my cd drivers, but found my card reader wont pick up that a card has been put in there. I tried turning off and restarting my computer, both didn't work and my computer tells me there arnt any updates for it and its working properly have you come across this? how did you fix it thank you soooo Muchmy computers a dell(windows vista)
- Did you use a disc to format and reinstall Vista? Why didn`t you just take it back to facory settings (F8 at startup) and all your drivers would be there automatically. Reply to added info. No it isn`t the same, a restore to factory settings includes all your drivers. It may not be a driver issue though, as you say it`s reported to be working properly. I`m assuming it`s saying this in device manager. I have this problem in my desktop, the built in card reader won`t read some cards but reads others. I use a usb card reader to overcome the problem. This is the type of thing I mean, very cheap and worth having to hand, I have a few bought from China for about 15p each.
- Q: Charger output current is not enough impact on the battery it?
- There are two ways to charge nickel and nickel-metal hydride batteries, that is, we all know "fast charge" and "slow charge." Fast charge and slow charge is an important concept of charging, only to understand the fast charge and slow charge to correctly grasp the charge.
- Q: I have a micro SD card for my phone and the adapter card. I want to put music on it. It's an LGVX9900 (EnV). I want to know if I put the card in the printer slot, will the printer allow me to upload songs to it? Is there anyway to do that?
- Only thing you can do is try. I've always assumed that the printer was acting as a reader only. You may be disappointed too in that the files uploaded to the card using a method other than what 's recommended may not work properly. Like if you copied mp3's to your IPod via mycomputer, I bet they wouldn't work, even though they're still MP3's. If it doesn't work, format the card in the phone again, and it should be ok. Of course, when you format, you lose all of your info on that card.
- Q: i have a Toshiba Satellite L35-S2161 and i was wondering if it has a card reader so i can put music in my sd card that goes in my phone
- if you don't have the owners manual for your computer go to toshiba website and search you model number and it should tell you all the features your computer has. but if it doesn't follow the other fellows suggestion and get a usb card reader hope this helps :0)
- Q: I can upload my pics. and send them by E - mail. Recently - after coming home I tried to use it at home and my Norton indicated - Trojan Virus and another thing called Packaged .Obviously it got infected at an Internet Cafe. My question is - will the memory card also be infected ? If so can this be repaired ?
- It can be infected if the file was saved onto it, or if the virus is intelligent enough to save a part of itself on there, but in most cases memory cards are not affected unless you actually save an infected file onto it, which it sounds like you did. Basically your memory card is a small hard drive, so you can plug it into a port on your computer (if you have an appropriate card reader port on it) and have Norton scan it and clean off anything it finds.
- Q: I looked it up in my book and it dosent really say and the card reader didnt comt with directions either
- First off, you can use a usb cord to attach your phone directly into your computer with USB. there is also a memory card that you can place the very little memory card that came with the phone into and then place into a memory card reader into the computer. You can also text messege yourself songs to your phone. But I recomend using the USB cord and just attaching your phone to your computer and then using Windows Media to Sync your music to your phone. You sync it by going to your Sync under your music and tones. Hope this helps.
