Technical Superiority of Best Quality Steel Fiber:
1. High in flexural strength, shear resistance & anti permeability.
2. Low in shrinkage degree, thus effectively preventing shrinkage cracks.
3. Excellent in ductility.
4. High in early strength times increase in impact resistance and fatigue resistance.
5. Good in workability, hence uniform distribution in concrete without balling during mixing and free from exposure after placing.
6.concrete thickness reduced without affecting its strength, hence a cut in concrete consumption by 20-30%.
7.rebar partly or completely omitted.
8.a small dosage with 0.35% as the smallest and 0.4-0.8 as normal range.
9.construction cycle shortened by 25%, suitable for projects where continuous and fast concrete placing is required, such as ports, airports, tunnels, reservoirs and industrial floors.
10.the same applied for conventional concrete mixing & placing without addition of other equipment.

- Q: what is acid soluble cement?
- Acid soluble cement is a blend of cement that dissolves in acid. Its properties provide reduced slurry density, low viscosity and sufficient compressive strength, thus making it an excellent production slurry for cementing horizontal laterals for unconventional gas.
- Q: What's the difference between concrete and cement?
- cement is pure cement concrete has cement and gravel and sand and other similar things in it
- Q: We have been building an outdoor kitchen and subsequently purchased many different types of concrete products. I have noticed the cement, mortar, and grout are very similar products. What is the fundamental difference between these products (besides price and location)?
- Cement is a general building material -- like concrete. Mortar is the adhesive that sticks tiles (ceramic usually but it could be marble or even granite tiles) to the underlayment (the underlayment could be cement, cement board that his screwed to a wood sub-floor, etc.). It may be cement based but then have different additives. For an outdoor kitchen counter you will probably use a plywood or OSB sheet, then a 1/4 inch thick cement board and then stick your tiles on with a mortar that has a polymer additive because of the temperature changes Grout is what is used to fill the joints between the tiles after the mortar is dry. It is waterproof (do not use mortar in between tiles it is not waterproof and may wash away!) Sanded grout has more substance, e.g. will fill more, and is needed if the joints are greater than 1/4 inch or so..such as for large floor tiles Non-sanded grout is used for thin tile spaces...1/8 inch or less like small bathroom wall tiles.
- Q: Whats the difference between masonry cement and mortar? If you mix portland cement with sand does it become masonry cement or mortar?
- CEMEX’s Type N Masonry Cement, Type S Masonry Cement and Type M Masonry Cement are specially formulated and manufactured to produce masonry mortar. The masonry mortar is often used in brick, concrete block and stone masonry construction; also used to produce stone plaster.
- Q: what is the ratio for the cement to install cement block; sand, cement . and mortor creme?
- There is a difference in the sand for motar that the sand you use for pouring cement such as a slab. The motar sand is very, very fine and for the cement you can just use builders sand. I recommend a 3 to 1 mixture. Not sure what you mean by motar creme unless you are referring to a latex additive. I would absolutely recommend using the additive, it makes the motar more of an adhesive and also makes it repel moisture so it will last years longer especially in colder climates.
- Q: if a ball was dropped on cement and an identical ball was dropped on stretchy rubber, which scenario would result in the most force acting on the ball?
- The cement. Here's why.... dP = d(mV) = m dV = F dT; where F = ? is the force in question. Note that F = m dV/dT = mV/dT; where V = sqrt(2gh) is the speed of impact for both objects when dropped from h height. So it comes down to dT, the impact interval. dT is the period it takes for the object to come to rest after impact. When that period is short, dt, the force is F = mV/dt and when it's longer, dT > dt, the force is f = mV/dT. So F/f = mV/dt//mV/dT = dT/dt and, ta da: F = f (dT/dt) the force on cement, where the ball comes to an abrupt stop, is (dT/dt) times greater than on the tarp, where the ball takes a bit longer to stop as it is cushioned by the stretching. - Q: color- white cement
- From the interwebz. You can buy ANYTHING from the internet! :)
- Q: what are the emissions?how control or reduce it?
- The cement industry has had a devastating effect on the mud and straw industry. The collateral damage inflicted when cement falls in running in the billions every year. The increased pollution from following the slow cement trucks is causing the ice caps to melt. Cement trucks should be allowed to drive through red light to keep the emissions low.
- Q: I need to find out hw cement is manufactured on a large scale, and if the answers could be concise and short, and not too complicated that would be great. i dont need you to go into a lot of detail, just outline how it's done.Thank you!
- There are different types of cement but... Portland cement is made by heating limestone with small quantities of other materials (such as clay) to 1450°C in a kiln. The resulting hard substance, called 'clinker', is then ground with a small amount of gypsum into a powder to make 'Ordinary Portland Cement', the most commonly used type of cement (often referred to as OPC). Always the same process just in large volume.
- Q: I've tried hosing it down, sweeping etc. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone recommend a solution for my problem?
- Muriatic acid is commonly used to clean concrete. Read and heed ALL of the safety warnings on the bottle. Full face shield, long heavy duty rubber gloves, don't skip anything. The acid is nasty stuff. But it will do the job. Just follow the directions on the bottle for mixing and use. You can get it at any hardware or big box store. Alan
