Q: and it was lumpy can i still use it or will the lumps interfer with the leveling process, ( and how liquidy should i make it) i experimented with a little amount and it just didn't look right so i threw it out.. it's the firt time i'm using a self leveling product: On self leveling cement, make the mix super liquid at first and then use a power drill and a paint mixer mixing it very thoroughly and completely, Then add a bit more of the dry cement to the liquidy mix until you get a consistency of about a thin tooth paste. The key here is to make it liquidy, then thicken it back by adding more dry cement powder until you get it just right. Now before you go applying this to an existing concrete surface, take brush and wet down that concrete with water. Get it good and wet but not puddled on there. Wait 10 minutes or so for the old concrete to absorb the water. Then take and pour that above mix onto there and start leveling with a flat piece of aluminum or a flat boards edge.

If I glue down small portions, when I peel it off, will the paint me ruined? Would Elmer's school glue work better?: Rubber cement and elmers glue will adhere and pull the acrylic paint off. Try using some small pieces of not too sticky masking tape or painters tape, and don't leave it on for more than the time it takes to paint it.

Q: i need to cement some blocks in my my garden any help: The simple way would be to buy mason mix and all you got to ad is water. My understanding is you already got sand, now you need type c cement and water. use your wheelbarrow to mix your mortar in and use on every 4 shovels of sand one shovel of cement. take a rake or a hoe to mix both ingredients well while they are still dry, now ad some water not too much and mix it some more, repeat adding water until you get a pudding like paste. Check with your trowel the mixture and make sure will stick to it if you turn it upside down. If it is runny and won't stick mix an additional shovel of cement into your mix. If you ad by mistake to much water simply ad sand to the mix . Your goal is to make it stick to your trowel than it is good to better your bricks or blocks.
