Q: I am always browsing phones and getting tempted by every new gadget I work hard all day long in my job but i keep spending all my money on these high end smartphone I which I don't even use any advise on how to stop spending a lot of money on mobile phones thanks.
when you're buying a mobile phone don't get a flip phone. I had 3 flip phones in the past and flip phones don't last that long. and they tend to be easier to break too. When you get a cellphone think about what you will be using the cellphone more for? are you going to be using the cellphone more for texting, talking, emergencies only? If you are a texter and you talk a lot then I suggest you should get a slider phone with a keyboard because its easier to text with a full keyboard on your phone. if you plan on using your cell phone for emergencies then I suggest you can get a non flip phone say for instance a net 10 or a tracfone non flip/non slider phone. which one are you going more towards, prepaid or contract? If you have enough money to spend on a contract plan then I suggest you go with att. I have att contract and they are the best cellphone service. I don't get any dropped calls or dropped text messages and I get 5 air bar waves and I never had a problem with their service. If you don't like to spend a lot of money and you want to go with prepaid then I suggest you go with net 10. I use to have net 10 before I had att contract and from my experience net 10 never gave me any problems, it was easy to use and you would get 200 minutes for 20 dollars and you didn't get dropped calls or dropped text messages from them either and there were always bar waves on the phone so it was a good connection. the only thing I don't like about net 10 is you have to top up 20 dollars once a month because with 20 dollars they will give you 200 minutes but only 30 service days. make sure you shop around very carefully before you get a cellphone and check out the plans too. good luck :-)
Q: I really LOVE the virgin mobile phone, and i want to get it but i wanted to know if any virgin mobile phones are going to come out soon. By the way, i love the big screen and the design of the phone.im looking for a full smart phone and not like the slider or optimus v.P.S. my birthday is feb. 10 and i want to get it by then so any time before that is nice.its ok if its a week later ;-)THANKS SOO MUCH :-)
Honestly I would wait for a different one. I am a best bu mobile employee and i had the phone for about 4 months and just thought it could of been better. 1. The battery is so dreadful, i got maybe 4hrs out of it. 2. The signal strength on the phone was absolutely terrible. I never got more than 3 bars in places i would normally get full strength and that was on other virgin mobile phones. 3. The camera on the back would be really funky sometimes. It would show any picture i took with a blue color and i had no effects on it. 4. It got really dirty really quickly and the back cover never really fits on there correctly. I would say wait, i believe they should be getting some new phones to virgin sometime late feb.-mid march.
Q: I have Virgin Mobile, and want to switch phones to one that has a full keyboard, but they only have on listed on their website, and I don't really like how that one is. Am I able to use any phone, and then just put in the serial number and stuff like normal, or does it have to be a Virgin Mobile phone?
Hi, you can choose any phone you like but you will have to get it unlocked to the virgin network. Most independent phone shops can unlock it for you or alternatively have a look on OKorder for the phone you want and look for an 'unlocked' one. Hope this helps.
Q: I plan to travel from USA to Germany, and would like to have a mobile phone to keep in touch with my German friends. I have a GSM phone. But if I use my current mobile plan (T-Mobile USA), I will end up with high roaming charges. What's my least expensive option, preferably with free incoming calls in Germany? If it's a German prepaid SIM card, what kind should I look for? Can I order one from home, or buy one after arrival in Germany? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

Q: What does the mobile phone market usually say?
Because in the production process, the general function does not affect the components will not be installed into the machine.
Q: How can my phone not open?
The battery and the various parts of the power supply circuit is not caused by the failure of most of the phone.
Q: a friend from school is going to give me her phone (lg rumour) there is no phone number on it and she hasn't used it since the summer time. for me to activate it, do i just go to a virgin mobile store and say that i want to activate the phone?i also want to get unlimited texting on the phone aswell. (its a prepaid phone) how do i go through with this. plus, anything else that i should know?
If the phone is inactive right now, you can go into a Virgin Mobile store and ask to activate it. Except since it has no phone number, that might be kinda hard. For unlimited texting, I have a $25 plan that gives 300 minutes, and unlimited texting and web. While you're at the store, they can probably start you on that plan. Or you can go into your messaging settings under Balance Usage and change it from there.
Q: I want to get a new mobile - can i get them without a Sim card and have my one in my current phone put in it so i have the same phone number and the same cash on my pay as you go
You can, or you can get one with a SIM already installed and get the mobile phone provider to transfer your old number to the new SIM. This process takes a few days. The main difference is that using your old SIM will mean that you are still using the same network. If a different network is offering the phone and/or calls etc more cheaply, take the second option with a new SIM on the new network, and your old number transfers to the new network.
Q: I feel good, if mobile is having only mp3 player and phone features in it. I'm against about phones having low resolution cameras, which are not at all use full.Is there someone around having same kind of taste.
Not me! I love having a camera on my phone. Most phones have considerably good quality cameras. My camera does take better pictures than my phone, but it is not always as handily available as my phone. My phone is a multi-purpose device that is a convenient luxury. Phone, camera, search engine, calculator, calendar, address book, computer, notepad, Bible, music player, library, game, flashlight. I make mobile deposits via my phone and do other banking
Q: I want my documentaries to be playable on the technologies inside home. The television, the videos and others but they can not play the clips directly from my phone .On the converting software what file format do i say that i want my video clips to look like?
Hi Amuoro, and welcome to Y!A Camcorders: You've been asking about this same thing 5 times over the past month in various other Categories, but never have you said WHICH mobile phone model # you have. Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading. Since you are relatively new to Yahoo!Answers, you might not know that you can Update your Question using the Additional Details link on the Action Bar below your Question text. Just mouse-over the blue pencil icon Edit menu, and add the details about your phone and computer. This discussion will remain open for at least 4 days, for us to reply. hope this helps, --Dennis C.
