- Q: I'm eligible for an upgrade, and I would like to know your opinions on whether I should get the G2, or MyTouch 4G. Before anyone answers, yes I am aware T-Mobile (like many other carriers) may not be as strong in your area, as it is in mine. I'm not looking for any comments about T-Mobile, or how the IPhone is so much better than any of them etcI'm seeking what owners have found as Pro's Con's of each type of phone. Like what's the difference between G2's Stock Android, and MyTouch's adaptation of it. If you are a current owner of either of these phones, you're experiences be they positive or negative. Would be great to read to help me make a choice. Thanks!
- I don't live in the US so I don't really know how bad T-Mobile is. I haven't heard of the MyTouch 4G, but I have heard of the G2 (but known as the HTC Desire Z outside of US). I've heard good thigns about the G2, it's a pretty good phone, there aren't really much of a problem with it. The only flaw that some people have reported is that while sliding out the keyboard, the wire that connects the screen to the actual phone becomes exposed and it looks fragile like it would break at some point (the wire is important because if it becomes detached the screen will not work). Although, no one has reported an incident with it. So you should be fine with it. The good thing about it is that it runs on Stock Android meaning that you can update as soon as Google releases a new version of Android. HTC phones are pretty good in terms of quality and I know people with HTC phones so, I'd recommend it.
- Q: If the deal goes through and ATT acquires T-Mobile USA, will ATT customers have access to T-Mobile phones (HTC HD7, G2) and T-Mobile customers have access to ATT phones (iPhone, HTC Inspire)?I'm a current ATT customer with the iPhone 4, but I want a nice Android or WebOS smartphone.
- It will be a couple years (at least) before the merger (if approved) gets to that point. And by that time, the current phones will no longer be sold, and there will be new models. What's nice about the merger is that they are both very similar technologies. I haven't done it myself, but I've heard several stories of iPhone users using their phone with T-Mobile. So I'm sure it will work the other way also. And once the merger is complete, you will no longer have two separate companies, and it all will be one big, happy ATT, and any new phones that come out between now and then will be contracted with this in mind.
- Q: I am tracking what is the best mobile phone here : I use what is the best mobile phone dot combut do you any any ideas where to find the best mobile phone list updated every week?
- Iphone, blackberry, or samsung (the new one)or HTC or sony.
- Q: Hi all,I've been looking on Amazon at the Samsung Galaxy S phone the description is ' Samsung I9000 Galaxy S Sim Free Mobile Phone 'I was thinking of buying this phone but I'm a bit unsure if it would work once I got it.Question 1: What exactly does Sim-Free mean? I thought initially it was that the phone was open to any network not locked but after reading some posts I am still a bit unsure.Question 2: How can I tell if this phone is locked or unlocked, I live in Spain so it would go on to a spanish network. When I came to Spain with my unlocked phone I just changed the sim card to a Spanish one and it worked. So really I'm just wanting to know if I buy it that I can just put my sim-card in and it will work. Thanks

- Q: I was going to buy boost mobile phones for me and my friend but i noticed there nicest phone was a flip phone and was $300!! Well there plan is good bcuz for $50 a month you can get unlimited everythingAlready been to OKorder they dont have the one i want.any ideas?
- Well, you can put a Boost sim in a Nextel phone. The Blackberry Curve 8350 for Nextel is cheaper then the i9. You would have to put third party software like Opera mini for web and Googlevoice for texting to get around the lack of Blackberry services though. Max is about $200 in near mint condition. There are tons of other cheaper Nextel phones like the i836, which is a basic but good looking flip phone, the Blackberry 7100i, an okay looking Blackberry that goes for under $50 used (needs same setup as other Blackberry to fully work though), the i920 and i930 are Windows mobile smartphones that if you have them unlocked, can use Tmobile and Att sims as well as Boost and Nextel. They are the only phones in the entire walkie talkie iden lineup that can do this. They can't send texts with Boost sims, but you can try and rig an im program like Aim or Googlevoice to get it to work as a substitute. There are dozens of models of older Nextels . A lot of them aren't very pretty, but a few of them are okay looking . And many of them are dirt cheap and can work with your Boost sims. Craigslist and OKorder.
- Q: Mobile phone desktop pages too much, how to delete?
- Click on the middle of the page "×" symbol, you can delete.
- Q: I thought I could treat myself to a nice mobile phone what is the best VIRGIN mobile phone you can get?
- if okorder
- Q: If I were to go to a T-Mobile store, and buy, say a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for FULL price, could I use it with another carrier like ATT, or Straight Talk?Do T-Mobile phones come unlocked since I did buy it full price?
- If I were to go to a T-Mobile store, and buy, say a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for FULL price, could I use it with another carrier like ATT, or Straight Talk? ------------ no…. tmobile wont sell you’re a phone at full price no matter how much you beg them Do T-Mobile phones come unlocked since I did buy it full price? ---------- no, contract, subsidy, or full price still means its locked. 1) Wireless Carrier stores, called CORS (company owned retail stores), do not sell phones at full price to non-customers. Either you are already a customer of theirs…. Or…. plan on being a customer of theirs in the next 10-15 minutes. Lmao 2) Branded wireless carrier phones sold at Full Price (499-699) on national retailer sotres and sites (walmart, amazon, radioshack, best buy) are locked to that carrier. You must call the carrier to obtain the unlock code. 3) Non-branded wireless carrier phones are sold ONLY by the OEM and are naturally unlocked, may/may not have additional hardware/software installed than basic wireless carrier versions, and are geared, mod’d more to developers and techs rather than the idiot sheeple of the general public. They are $699-$999…
- Q: I have noticed that all the official songs of famous bands and stuff never allow their vids on mobile phones and my question is WHY??I know they did it on purpose and it's copyright or whatever but WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS? If they will allow their vid on mobile phones they'll get more views
- It has nothing to do with music. It has everything to do with the uploader not making their content available. It's something they have to choose to do themselves. There are several video playlists of tv shows and likewise that haven't been made available on mobile. It is most likely attributed to content being uploaded prior to the mobile site being released.
- Q: Mobile phone is closer to the distance between people? Or alienated the distance between people?
- The most important function of the mobile phone is to facilitate people to contact, to promote communication, communication, which we can not draw the phone closer to the emotional distance between people's conclusions.
