Q: i would like to know the useful ways of mobiles .: If you are out in public and you or a loved one slips and busts their head open- you do not have a pay phone around, or it is in use, then you can use the mobile. If you see some violence that is getting bad- you can use the mobile. It is good to have if something happens at home while you are gone, all they have to do is call your cell phone and aware you of the problem. It is a good idea to have at least one cell phone per a house hold.

Q: I have a w385 Krzer on Boost Mobile's UNLTD plan. I like the Krzer and all but I'd like a new phone but keep the same number and plan. I was just on their site and was looking at all their phones but there is no option to buy a new phone in replacement of your other. the Krzer w385 does not have a SIM card so I can't but another phone online to swap card into I don't think. Q: I ordered a new phone with a 2 yr contract online with t- mobile about 5 days ago and i still cant track my order on the UPS website and on the t-mobile website all it says is Your upgrade order is in process. is this normal ?: It does seem a little late, although upgrades don't move forward on the weekends so it's only 3 business daysstill, I'd think it would at least have been sent to UPS by now. (You're putting your mobile number in track by reference on the UPS site, right?) I would call 611 to see if the phone is maybe on backorder or something.

Q: I plan to travel from USA to Germany, and would like to have a mobile phone to keep in touch with my German friends. I have a GSM phone. But if I use my current mobile plan (T-Mobile USA), I will end up with high roaming charges. What's my least expensive option, preferably with free incoming calls in Germany? I've checked the T-Mobile website and tons of other sites and still can't figure it out. If a phone has Hotspot @ home service, then does that guarantee that it can also go on the internet through a wi fi connection using a wireless router for free?: Are these all T-mobile branded phones? If so, going to the Tmobile website should yield you results for each phone. It will specifically say WiFi capable if the phone has such capabilities. Off the top of my head, the Blackberry Pearl 8120 is the only one I know that has WiFi enabled. The 8100 regular does not. Again, you would have to look at each phone specifically and see if it's capable. If these are phones 1year old or more, then chances are they are not. If they're not Tmobile specific phones, you would have to go to the provider's website and look it up. Even if they're not Tmobile phones, you can use WiFi. I have the Blackberry Curve and the internet isn't as FAST as the iPhone but it's still pretty fast. I don't have much waiting times, especially using WiFi. If you subscribe to the Hotspot thingy, you can use the WiFi pretty much in any Tmobile hotspot and the best part is if you make phone calls in those wifi areas, it's FREE. Yup. Doesn't count off your regular minutes plan. And yes it's a guarantee that you'll get wifi if you're subscribed, unless your router dies or something.

You can you them for an organzier, calender, notes, reminders and so on, only problem is, you can lose it.

Q: Alright so I just got this new virgin mobile phone (and my parents won't buy me a new one so don't tell me to get a new one) and it's messed up!!! I have to keep the battery out of it! When i put the battery in and turn it on it goes to the hello screen and then the virgin mobile screen and then just cuts off!! About 10 seconds later it will turn on by itself and repeat the process! Can someone tell me what to do?: If you just got it, you can return it. Getting a new one doesn't mean your parents have to buy it. Before you return it, leave it plugged in to charge a few hours. If you can, leave the phone off while charging. If it keep coming on on its own, let it sit like that while charging. If your problem persists, return it to the store where you got it or to Virgin Mobile directly.
