If you are pursuing the warranty replacement route, then you are stuck with another Optimus V, and they do not offer discounts on replacement phones. I would agree that the Optimus V is not a good phone, but when you look at how cheap that Virgim Mobile is, you can see how they cannot offer higher quality phones (basically it will be costly enough that it will cost them customers, as they typically want things on the cheap.). At least the phones that Virgin Mobile offers are better quality than those that Straight Talk offers (around 1 in 5 Straight Talk phones are defective).

You don't even have to buy a cell phone for the web and games. You can just have one to make calls and text. Go to a cell phone company and they'll walk you through what you want to have unlimited and limited minutes on. They'll also explain what kind of brand and model the phone is that you want to buy. I was just on their site and was looking at all their phones but there is no option to buy a new phone in replacement of your other. the Krzer w385 does not have a SIM card so I can't but another phone online to swap card into I don't think.
