- Q: I have been using a Dual SIM Chinese mobile phone for more than 8 months.Recently I have heard that the limit of Radiation of such phones is not properly maintained in the manufacturing process. Is there a such issue? How can I know whether my phone is above the safe limit of Radiation? Actually is the Radiation of the Dual SIM phone is higher than that of a normal mobile phone?
- Modern phones transmit a tiny percentage of a watt. Very old Analog phones can use up to 3 watts, but modern digital phones use far less. On the other hand, China is known for milk-gate and other nasty things Who knows if they care about such thing as phone radiation? --- Kasey C, PC guru since Apple II days Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.
- Q: i would like to know the useful ways of mobiles .
- If you are out in public and you or a loved one slips and busts their head open- you do not have a pay phone around, or it is in use, then you can use the mobile. If you see some violence that is getting bad- you can use the mobile. It is good to have if something happens at home while you are gone, all they have to do is call your cell phone and aware you of the problem. It is a good idea to have at least one cell phone per a house hold.
- Q: I had shortlisted the Sony Ericsson T700 and G502 as the choices for my first mobile phone. I am pretty convenient at using mobile phones (as all my relatives have one) so using them is not a problem. My first pref is the T700 but as it is costlier and mostly has the same features as the cheaper G502 (except camera mp, menu layout and more RSS functions), I am thinking of going for the G502. However, I have read that the G502's build quality is poor and it hangs and restarts and similar sort of things. Also some people say that the colour starts coming off after a few months. Is that a cause for worry?I know that firmware needs to be updated regularly so, if I maintain it well, are there chances of problems creeping up? I would also like to know from G502 users if they liked it or if they had some specific problems with it? In the end, should I wait for the T700's price to drop or should I go for the G502?Thanx for reading.
- I've had one for about a couple of months now and had no problems with it. I was just after a low cost phone that would allow me to check emails, get weather reports, connect to messenger, etc. The screen is a little small but I can read my mail using Google's excellent mobile mail app. I haven't tried to write an email with it yet. Build quality is good and I haven't had any problems with it hanging, although a couple of websites that I was viewing with the built in browser have caused it to restart. Can't comment on the paint coming off yet. I think the screen would be easily scratched so I try to avoid putting it in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc. and I'm looking for some sort of cover to protect it. Overall, it does the job for me and I've been pleased with it in the first couple of months I've had it. Best regards,
- Q: im getting a new phone. but don't know which is the best. whats your favorite t-mobile phone ? (:
- galaxy sby far my favorite phone of all time it has so much awesomeness i can only begin to describe it, if u are getting a new phone i highly recommended this one.
- Q: i need a cheap but nice virgin mobile phone, any reccomendations?
- depends if ur looking for prepaid phones or plan phones? the cheapest virgin prepaid we carry at my store is $60. i would recomend supertab tho honestly, plus virgins plans start at 20dollars and all theyre plans include unlimited texting and all the minutes r long distance. check out their website :) sorry for phone ideas the galaxy 550 (touch screen) or the galaxy 551 (touch screen + slide keyboard) r good phones and not to expensive. or theres the.lg rumor if u wanna keep it real simple again just head to their website, u can see their full line up
- Q: I have the LG virgin mobile phone (not the new one) and I turned it off to charge and then turned it back on but it only went to the Hello part and started loading up and then it just goes black and back to the Hello and just keeps repeating it! any ideas why??? I sent virgin mobile an email but they havnt replied yet!
- Yes I agree with the above
- Q: I am looking at Vigin Mobile phones, and I have found two that would be great. The Slash and the Shuttle. I need help choosing. Which one is better?
- Definately the Shuttle!! Here is why the Shuttle is better: (+) Shuttle camera is 1.3 megapixel camera, Slash is just VGA (+) Shuttle can record video, Slash cannot (+) Shuttle is 3G speed and uses EVDO (this is Virgin Mobile's first EVDO 3G phone) (+) Shuttle has a music player (Slash does not) (+) Shuttle has removable memory, Slash does not (+) Shuttle is much quicker than Slash This is why the Shuttle is better :-) If you are planning of getting either one of these, it would be best to get the Shuttle, the higher price is worth it. I am planning on getting one!!
- Q: i wany to send a mail to mobile phone means mail convert to text message
- definite it rather is. you're able to point out what telephone provider you have so i will provide help to be attentive to the address to apply. T-cellular has one, Verizon has one, ATT. i'm not sure approximately the different distributors.
- Q: I am thinking about purchasing an unlocked Palm which runs on Windows Mobile. I don't think it comes with AIM. I guess I would download it from the website. My question is, if I do -- will AIM then run in the background when my phone is on standby/off or will I only receive messages when my phone is active?
- If your phone is on standby and you're logged in, you will be alerted. If your phone is fully powered off, you will not (unless you tweak the settings around to allow the application to turn on your phone). You can customize a lot on the Windows Mobile phones just depends on how much time you have to learn the steps and procedures to make it work the way you want it to.
- Q: i need a write-up on the positive points of mobile phones. a genuine answer gets free 10 points! there are many uses. so list 'em all! i'll really appreciate your help
- For emergencies For senior citizens or handicapped people to keep in touch To get directions if you are lost To talk to someone while walking to your car late at night if you are alone In case you run out of gas at night or need help
