Q:i want mobile phone tracking software
no such thing unless a phone company made one WHICH THEY WONT because its classified as a whats the word. evading peroples privacy. and if youve seen that one on the internet that advertised one? its nothing but a click-and-auto download-virus. and it requires you to give your info and then the phone company sells it to marketers and thats how you gett annoying telly marketers
Q:Hi, i just wanted to know about the typical gross profit margins to the retailer in the sale of mobile phones and if it varies by a lot by which brand a retailer sells. Thanks.
Around a year back, i purchased a hp dv6 laptor for about half a lakh. As a complementary, the retailer offered me a motorokr mobile phone worth Rs.10000 for Rs.5500 extra. I bought the phone. Before opening the box, i looked for the reviews of the phone, which were mostly negative. So, I decided to sell it. I took it to THE MOBILE STORE who declined the offer. On asking, they told me that they themselves get the phone from motorola for 5500 and sell it to the customers for 10000. That means a profit for Rs.4500! I didn't sell it, and I use the phone and I hate it!
Q:Hey guys, so I am getting a new phone and have no idea what to get. I had verizon, but after the two year contract, I got to overwhelmed with the price. I usually don't call that much, but I send a very large amount of texts. I want something that is very durable because I do tend to drop all my phones. I was considering the Samsung Intercept, the Blackberry Curve, and the LG Rumor touch.IF you could help me decide if Virgin mobile is worth the money and if the phones are good thatd be great. Also, which one of the phones you like the best.XOX,CALIlt;3
This one is easy. Intercept! It's the most expensive of the three, but it is the only Android phone. The Rumor is crap, and the Curve, in my opinion, sucks compared to an Android phone. If you want a cheaper contract service, go with Sprint (who owns Virgin's towers). You'll pay about the same as going with Virgin (70/mth with 450 minutes, Unlimited Txt, Unlimited Web, Unlimited Sprint TV) and you'll not have to worry if you forget to put money on your phone.because if you forget with Virgin, your phone will cut off. Also, phone wise, the Intercept will run you as low as 20.00 while with Virgin, it'll be more like 250.
Q:details about various brands of mobile phone and its uses
it depends on the type of service that you want (e.i. T-Mobile, ATT, Sprint, ) and the type of phone depends on the needs of the phone. Like if you talk alot and will continuously use your phone, a blackberry would be good, but if you just want something to talk on than a cheap samsung will do just that
Q:im getting a new phone. but don't know which is the best. whats your favorite t-mobile phone ? (:
galaxy sby far my favorite phone of all time it has so much awesomeness i can only begin to describe it, if u are getting a new phone i highly recommended this one.
Q:What is the .thumbnails folder on the phone and can it be deleted?
This file can be deleted, but still will automatically generate.
Q:I was just wondering, If i bought a G1 (ATT Subscriber) without contract and just unlock it through the web service for $24 will I be able to use it? Or do I first need a T Mobile sim to activate the phone?I am confused by the last question there, so please help.
You need a T-Mobile account and data plan just to set the phone up initially. I have one, so I've done it. When you first fire up the phone, it expects to find a T-Mobile sim with an active data plan, and you have to set up Google access with either an existing account or a new account set up on the phone. Once you do that, I understand you can unlock the phone and use it with other GSM systems (like ATT), but there are a couple of caveats: 1. You won't be able to use the T-Mobile data network, even with a ATT data plan. 2. You can allegedly tweak the phone to use the ATT data network, but you still have to have a data plan to do so. 3. You won't have any 3G access on ATT or T-Mobile's network. It will work with the edge network, but since the phoen si a 3G phone, you lost the advantage of that higher speed network. To me, doing it this way is no advantage. Even though ATT has better 3G coverage (currently), T-Mobile is rapidly rolling theirs out, and it is available in many major cities. I have it where I work in DC, but not where I live yet in Jacksonville, Florida, but the edge network works there really well. I know you have an ATT plan, but if your contract is up or close to it, I'd switch. I'm very happy with T-Mobile (been with them many years) and the G1 is an excellent phone.
Q:Are unlocked mobile phones (of the same model) more expensive than mobile phones that are not unlocked?
yes, typically. unlocked phones can be used with pretty much any sim card as long as it works with the GSM. locked phones only work for one carrier. i.e verizon, sprint, etc. example, a sidekick might cost $50 with a 2 year plan yet it would cost probably around $150-200 to buy it unlocked.
Q:I either lost my mobile phone or it was stollen at a party last night and now I feel like killing my self?
Hello, Call in to your phone company and cancel it immediately. Just go an buy another phone. Its annoying but not the end of the world. Cheers, Michael Kelly
Q:I want to text message from my mobile phone, but I do not want the texts to go thru my mobile carrier. Is this possible by using my yahoo account?
Must be pretty desperate if people are prepared to share their mobile numbers on yahoo.
