Q:I have a collapsible ar stock that i havent moved in a few years and i tried to adjust it and it wont budge, the lever wont allow me to pull it to move the stock, any ideas?
1 Pull the adjusting lever out (gently) as far as you canThis is the opposite direction you usually compress it to adjustSpray everything that moves with penetrating oilThis will release the stock from the buffer tube 2 Pull off the stock while the lever is pulled 3 Clean and lube the detent rail of the buffer tubeGalvanic corrosion of the steel plunger and the aluminum tube can be a problem4 Spray the actual metal part you see the lever actuate with some sort of penetrating oilWork the lever by compressing and extending the lever fully up until you see it move freely 5 If you can't get it to work, just replace the stock assembly with either a commercial or military buffer tube compatible sockThey are so cheap, that it doesn't pay to take all day to mess with it.

Q:thinking of painting my Abrooker 12ft tinny its bare aluminium at the moment. can anybody tell me what i have to do to get it ready to paint and what sort of paint i will need to use. cheers.
Any acrylic will do it's the primer that's important Aluminum has it's own kind of primer it is usually green or yellow in color and reeks to high heaven. Once the primer is on paint it like any other thing like a bike or a car.

Baked oatmeal is a wonderful breakfast3 cups oatmeal 3/4 cup sugar (brown is better) 2 tspbaking powder 1/2 tspsalt 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup oil or melted butter 1 cup milk 1-2 tspcinnamon 1/2 cup nuts (opt.) 1 cup raisins (opt.) Just mix everything together in a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 25-30 minCan be mixed at night and left to sit overnight in fridge, then baked in morningyou could mix all the dry ingredients in a plastic bag at home and take along so you don't have to worry about buying themPancakes from Bisquick would be good too, with butter, syrup, or jam.

Mohair comes from a particular species of goat known as the Angora goatIt is a staple fibre like wool from sheep and is shorn from the animal usually annualThe fibre characteristically between 23-25 microns in diameter (the actual fineness of the individual fibres) and whilst this isn't considered exceptionally fine when compared to other comparable luxury fibres such as ultra-fine wool which can push the 11 micron range, the fibre is noted for its high strength, superior dye uptake and lustrous appearanceAlso, and important distinction lies within the age of the Angora animal with kid fleece more commonly utilised for apparel and mid layers and older animal fleece often contributing to to carpets and outer layer apparelMohair is very similar to sheep wool with a minor difference arising in the scale structure of the fibre which favourably prevents mohair from felting which can contribute to pilling and shrinkageThe mentioned itchiness that plagues the animal fibre industries is resultant from the staple fibre form of animal fibres, their respective diameters and the consolidation methods which are used to form yarns of such fibresItchiness or 'prickle' is observed when protruding fibre ends from within the individual yarn and finished fabric structure touch against the skin and are met with resistanceThis issue if heavily influenced by the diameter of the fibres used which in turn affects an important fibre trait known as fibre curvatureThis fact is best described by the differing force required to bend say a metal sewing needle and an individual human hair when pushing from either endTherefore, it can be illustrated that finer fibres, regardless of artificial or synthetic, will be drastically more comfortable when worn next to skin due to their their characteristically decreased hairiness in their yarn structures and lower resistance to compressionHowever, these luxury fibres and articles do not come without a significant price tagHope that helped.
