2.Other information
Recycling involves melting the scrap, a process that requires only 5% of the energy used to producealuminium from ore, though a significant part (up to 15% of the input material) is lost as dross (ash-like oxide). An aluminium stack melter produces significantly less dross, with values reported below 1%.The dross can undergo a further process to extract aluminium.
In Europe aluminium experiences high rates of recycling, ranging from 42% of beverage cans, 85% of
construction materials and 95% of transport vehicles.Recycled aluminium is known as secondary aluminium, but maintains the same physical properties as primary aluminium. Secondary aluminium is produced in a wide range of formats and is employed in 80% of alloy injections. Another important use is for extrusion.

- Q: question for telescope tubes.?
- well i usually use a little butter and a sprinkle of - pepper, galic powder, onion powder, salt, cajun seasoningand do a couple sprinkles of meat tenderizerdo this to both sides and then put it in a baking pan that you would make a cake in and cook it depending on the rare-ness or ya know how much you want it done and how thick it is is how long you will cook it.
- Q: I just purchased a used Beretta 96f in the inox finshI have been reading alot of forums about them and the majority of people dont like them muchPersonally i think they look greatThe DA trigger pull is alittle heavy but not unbearable and the SA trigger seems quite niceIve out about 1500 rounds thru it and had no problems yet also is more accurate then my glock 23I was dissapointed wtih the low factory mag capacity but found that mec-gar offers a 13 and 15 round mag for the 96 (in my opinion the mec-gars are higher quality than factory anywayI was hoping to get ur opinion on the 96F and aslo wanted to know why people bag on the .40 cal ammuntion, the american made berettas, and alluminum framed handgunsThanks alot ur input is well apreciated.
- the only thing I have against a 96F is the 10-11 rnd mag capacity in such a large 40 cal pistol but as you said mec-gar makes great mags although I didn't know anyone made a 15 rounder, unless it's extended like the 20 round 9mm mags? The only thing bad about aluminum framed guns is when they are made with poor heat treat or otherwise soft alloys that crack over long term useand the reputation thing might be from what the military berettas got when we bought magazines from the low bidder instead of berettas and the finish caused problems with feeding in dusty conditionsand there are the people for whom a 45 is the only caliberTo think about using any other is blasphemy.
- Q: I know or at least I have heard you not to use water on cast iron skilletsI have also heard not to wash at all to preserve the flavorBut this sounds A bit absurd to meSo if not water what do you use.
- It is a mistake to think that all type 2 diabetics are overweight as they are not about 10% or more may be normal weightThe main differences are Type 1: Most suffers tend to be young ie under 20ish It is sometimes called Juvenile DiabetesIn this type the pancreas produces little or no Insulin and the only treatment for this type would include some kind of insulin injected (several) times a daySymptoms would tend to be quite fast onset Type 2: Normally occurs in older people Late onset diabetes but younger people are being diagnosed with this type nowThe pancreas in this type tends to produce the insulin that is needed but the cells are unable to use it to control the blood glucose levelsThis type has several ways to treat it depending on how severe the symptoms are they can be any or all of the following diet, exercise, tablets or insulinSymptoms for this type may be slow in onset and take months or years to develop Again a lot of people say if you take insulin you are type 1 this is not true you can be a type 2 on insulinSorry but you will have to wait for the blood results to come back because you could be either type and the only way to find out is to do blood tests

Where can I buy one?
- Rarely will you find a pure element in natureThe interaction of chemicals causes so many things to happen, plus your aluminum foil is full of impurities from the smelting and suchAluminum is an element, aluminum foil is a compound.

- Q: I have a ready crust pie crustim going to put my pumpkin filling in itwhen i bake it do i leave the pie in the aluminium tin? or bake it on a cookie sheet in just the pie crust???
- You haven't said roughly how big the length is - 10cm or 100m ?? Or what your budget isYou need an instrument that has a precision of 0.01mmYou would usually use a digital micrometer screw gauge (sometimes just called as a 'digital micrometer)A digital vernier caliper will typically give you a precision of 0.02mm which may be enoughSee links for examples.

- Q: after dipping the chicken in egg/breadcrumbs and browning it a little bit on the stove top, I put some aluminum foil on a bake sheet, and splashed a little bit of wine on it and then put the breaded chicken on itI opened the oven door and there's a POTENT smell (smells like kitchen cleaner) almost made my eyes tearCould the wine have a chemical effect on the aluminum foil? PLEASE ANSWER ASAP
- Use margarine or shortening (crisco like product) rather than butterButter has a lower melting temperature than the other products so it begins to melt and spread the cookieWhen cooling it crisps up rather than staying softRefrigerate the dough for about an hour prior to bakingThis will keep the cookie firmer longer and the cookie will not spread as easilyUse milk rather than water that is called for in the recipeThis I have heard will also keep the cookie softer and moisterIf you like the recipe that you are using and do not want to make any changes then I can only suggest the following: The difference that you are finding in the two cookies you are making might be in the fact that when you roll the cookie in sugar the heat from your hand begins to soften the cookie before it gets to the oven You might want to try refrigerating the rolled cookies for a while before you bake them.
- Q: What are some good ways to cook fish that do NOT involve frying or deep frying?
- I can't believe I'm going to do this but here is my top secret fish recipe which has impressed even chefs- Take your fish fillets( must be white fish such as snapper) and put onto individual pieces of aluminium foil, fold up to make little packages-don't close yetMix in a small jug- 2 cloves crushed garlic 1 tbl spoon fish sauce 2 tbl spoon lemon juice 1 tbl spoon grated fresh ginger 2 tbl spoon sweet chilli sauce 2 tbl spoon chopped fresh coriander 1 tbl spoon rice wine vinegar (or white wine vinegar) 2 tbl spoon white wine Pour some of the marinade over the fish in each parcel Sprinkle 2 spring onions finely chopped evenly in the parcels and carefully close the parcels Put them on a baking dish and bake at 190C or 375F for aroud 20 mins- depending on size of filletsServe with long grain rice and stir fried asian vegesENJOY!
